What do you take on a daily basis ? and in hopes of treating / effecting what?
NOT meds....just supplements / vitamins.
NOT meds....just supplements / vitamins.
A full strength aspirin to thin my blood and reduce the possibility of a heart attack, 2000 units of vitamin D to help improve bone health, Preservision to help prevent macular degeneration, and a multivitamin to ward off evil spirits.
LOL.....well the evil spirit thing seems to be working for ya....
Aspirin & Preservision are both medicines correct? So the only supplements are Vitamin "D" and the multi ?
Vitamin D and turmeric. Also a B complex every third day because my plant-based diet is lacking in B12.
I take nothing. No supplements or meds.
Preservision is a magic mix of vitamins that promote eye health.
Soy reacts differently in women. It upsets our hormone balance by producing phytoestrogens - compounds they mimic estrogen in the body. Most breasts cancers need estrogen to grow and survive which is why it’s suggested women stay away from it.I take a daily multivitamin...and a Lutein pill and fish oil capsule. The Lutein and Fish oil is per recommendation from my eye doctor....best way to hopefully stave off Macular Degeneration, which my old Dad had in his later years.
Interesting because soy milk contains 50% of the daily requirements of B12.
The best vitamin supplement for B12 is the sublingual one that you put under your tongue.
Apparently the digestion system does not allow the absorption through the stomach.
I don't drink soy milk as I prefer the taste of almond milk. According to current research, both pills and sublingual B12 are absorbed equally well. Sorta makes sense when you think about it considering that the B12 that gets absorbed from animal sources gets routed through our stomachs.
Just curious, does your doctor know you are taking these daily?I don't take any prescription drugs, these are the supplements I take almost every day.
