Is it because they always end the same way???😏
No they don't. If you watch all of those stupid versions which some are animated, they change the story, add characters that were never in the Dickens' tale, and totally change some scenes. Scrooge (1951), has always been referred to as the version that is most loyal and like the way Dickens wrote it. Then you have Alaistair Sim. His performance is incredible. The meanest Scrooge of all, and the one who changes the most at the end.

I guess I live a sheltered life. All the versions I'm familiar with are pretty much the same story.

BTW is there a version where Scrooge wants to be remembered in a better light, and Marley appears to give him a recommendation for a good PR firm???
