Tell your friend that, according to recent scientific studies, they have determined that men's ears are genetically programmed to only pick up certain topics (Beer, sex, sports, and food). Now for the clever female, she will disguise her real topic by saying she wants to talk to him about one of the aforementioned, and then when she has his attention, she casually slips in how she wants him to take her to see the new Barbie movie.
