Two Children Killed In School Shooting

Earlier today, two children were killed in a Catholic school in Minnesota. An 8 and a 10 year old were killed by gunfire. Another 17 were injured. Police have no motive at the time the story went to press.

Shooter was found dead at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This breaks my heart, as does any incident in which a child dies. They were at a school Mass when this happened. It makes me think of my own kids, who went to Catholic school and attended weekly school Masses. My heart goes out to the parents.

The terrible thing is.. not only are gunmen who shoot innocent people, rank cowards and scum.. there is a much lower class even, of scum and cowards who shoot at innocent children.. sitting in a classroom.... ..and then take the ultimate cowards' way out and shoot themselves

I truly hope there is a Hell and he burns there for eternity!

They are not gunmen or shooters they are cold blooded cowardly killers and murderers. This pos even took the time barricade the doors so people couldn't get out. The coward wanted fish in a barrel.

23 year old male "identifying as a female." Obviously without enough guts to go to the woods and shoot him/herself without hurting others. The killer's mother worked at the school.

Watching the children and their parents coming away from the school traumatized was too much for me. I had to turn it off.

Westman may have had a grudge against the Catholic church because of their stance on trans issues.

Must be something Minneapolis water because this school/church shooting was the 4th shooting in 24 hours including 7 shot near a school yesterday.

I can't even think of any words that are adequate to respond to this stuff any more. Absolutely heartbreaking. There is something very sick about this country.
