I can do an 16/8 intermittent fast without any real hardship, as long as I have a physical activity going in the fasting' window to suppress my appetite. I need to do this.Sorry if you've already answered this, but what schedule of intermittent fasting are you doing? I'm currently on 16/8, which is comfortable. There was a time I was doing 19/5, which only caused me to overeat in the window.
Since 2018 I've been counting calories with MyFitnessPal app, during my big weight loss period it was successful. However, in the present my weight has crept up by first 5 and now 10 pounds from where I want to weigh. Time to get back to intermittent fasting.I'm finding calorie counting and intermittent fasting a bit exhausting, but trying to adjust slowly, less counting, more healthy choices and focus on the intermittent fasting. It's hard not to count, though; it gives me a sense of control that I'm scared to give up, though I've lost weight without counting calories before.
