Yesterday…..no outside time…..got up to 37c, and no breeze at all, not one leaf was moving…..so was a another day inside.
Forecast today, 32c, high humidity, so far, no breeze…..there has been forecasts of thunderstorms, watches, alerts for several days…..but….so far we’ve escaped.
Outside time today, not sure…..my back yard is over do for a mowing.

Today……2 weeks today, is moving day…..I can hardly believe it’s so close.
Need to do a grocery thing.

I didn't walk or go to the park this morning. Turns out my neighbor across the hall was having coffee for our little group. So was there and now making breakfast. I expect my bf sometime because we forgot to buy something when we did our errands on Friday. My day is unorganized today but it will be okay.

@katlupe, knowing NY weather, better be outside while you can... surely there will be rainy days when you can't walk outside.

Slowly doing prep for my visit to Seattle. As I know they have *fantastic* yarn shops there, I want to shop for a project, maybe a knitted sleeveless vest (same word in UK? or does that mean an undershirt... verbal landmines lurk everywhere, lol) So there is no room for doubt, like this:

Anyway, all you knitters know how it is... you shop in a distant location, you see a pattern you like, and the question comes up... "Do I have the correct size of needles already?" ( expensive enough without purchasing duplicates) So I took pics of all the needles I currently have, so I'm prepared.

If this is OCD, then so be it...

Off to get my hair trimmed at the salon this AM, then lunch with Ed. Y'all have a great day!
You're correct in your guess CS..sleeveless vest ..means an undershirt..

...your picture above of a sleeveless jumper is known as a Tank Top here... (y)

I've done almost entirely nothing today.. except the washing up .. and some weed pulling in the garden...

I've spent the whole day nursing a sore back.. and sitting searching for properties .. I'm amazed at how many people don't tidy their homes for the pictures to sell.. I'm actually not just amazed but astounded. Dishes still in the sink..or on the drainer.. animal food dishes in full view... I came across one home where they hadn't even made the bed... it actually looked like someone was still in it !!

Monday morning (wasn't there a song?) Fog from the ocean blew in overnight, but it will burn off early in the afternoon. It keeps the temperature down. “May Grey” and "June Gloom" will soon be gone, and then it will get hot, 100+ F. I still have to call a mechanic to check out our air-conditioning unit.

Well, I have to let the dogs go outside to do their usual business, and look around what's going on. Fog mist makes spider webs look interesting. And darn it, the dogs dug out a chicken that had died, and that I had not buried deep enough. Back inside where it is warm and cozy.

I have one just like that in black/white - love it. They are usually worn with something underneath but, if the sleeves are not too wide/low they are good to wear as a sleeveless top, especially under a jacket or cardigan. We generally call them tank tops but I have heard them called sweater vests or tanks.

When I went on my early walk this morning around 6:30a temp was 52 as I walked 2 blocks to buy NYT
This morning took bus went to Kohl's which I haven't been in months. I was pleasantly surprise to see their store hrs have changed now open at 9am
I was successful in what I was looking for, bought new pair of New Balance walking shoes, a new pillow for side sleepers I tried it out when I took my nap after lunch, very comfortable

It’s shocking. The good thing is that it tells the buyer that the owner didn’t give a damn about how they cared for anything about the house. Thanks, but no thanks to that property.

As I mentioned herein a few days ago, bought a basketball in order to help rehabilitate my right shoulder from the rotator cuff injury 17 months ago that left that arm with the coordination of a 4 year old. So today shot balls at a local park for about 45 minutes. Was also good respiratory exercise chasing bouncing balls.

Started out with all shots right below the basket not reaching the rim as the injury inhibits movement in that arm above my head at the end of the shooting phase. Also my two handed aim was affected by the weak right arm contribution. But after maybe ten minutes, began to figured out required forces and arm movement for aim so at least at close range began to increasingly get balls through the net. Most of my early shots came up short hitting the front of the rim so tried to shoot with stronger arm motion that took time. Began shooting in sequence at the 9 positions around the key and would start over upon any miss. By the end actually reached the free throw line a couple times that means I was able to make 4 shots in a row. With more regular play I expect the repetition will increasingly lock in my aim and range from the brain to muscle rewiring as well as increase arm strength to shoot from distance.

~Made my own electronic/hand wipes using baby wipes and 70% alcohol. I cut the wipes in half (Kirkland has large wipes), poured alcohol over them and put them into electronic wipe packages that I had saved. I cut the ends of the packages then tape them back up with packaging tape. I put one package in my tote and the other gets used either in my laundry supply tote or shopping bags.

~Changed the payment method for my streaming services.
~Cleaned up the kitchen.
~Dusted in the living/dining area.
