Well I didn't go out as you can all see..it's past 2pm now and still overcast and V Humid..I have the desk fan on full blast, and I'm still sweating down my face.. even with my hair tied up...
I've been out and emptied out one of the freezers in the shed, transferred everything to the bigger freezer in the barn.. and I'm defrosting the first freezer... that shouldn't take too long.

Morning breakfast clubbers!!!!! Welp shall I be bright and cheery or gloomy? LOL....got up breathing so that is a plus,
tho of course it is still hard to breathe in this weather, may get rain today, but want the lawn mowed before it does..LOL...got a wrist wrap on my right wrist due to pain, think I spent too much time on here yesterday...damned rash has come back to my body, and of course it's the weekend so cannot get the pills that
were originally prescribed, do have the cream, but it only helps a bit....got to do dishes cause no one else did them LOL...well this is enuff from me, so have a good day if you want....I'm gonna try to !!!!

Had a bad morning, but I firmly believe I'm at the end of troubles.
Went out for missed items on grocery list. Need to add lettuce. Forgot it totally, my bad. It promised a storm and the clouds were gathering downtown, but after my nap (so hit fell asleep after lunch lol!) well no storm but still sunny and hot.
After 16 years made decision to update something BUT I was told by representative, your safety first is of utmost importance. So, I took the plunge. Fingers crossed it'll be a good decision plus got savings out if it

On my early walk around 6:30 it was lightly raining as I went to buy local paper was humid,temp was 70
I wasn't planning on doing much of anything today except my laundry this morning
The weather had cleared up this afternoon, so 'spur of the moment' idea walked over to Marcia&Dave's house. I had an article for her As usual, my 'buddy boy' Tage started barking then got so excited to see me whole body wiggingly-priceless
Dave had left this morning at 6am to drive to Princeton,NJ where his mom, Betsy now lives in assisted living facility. Dave's brother,Chip&his wife live bear by

My daughter arrived for a couple of days so we spent several hours chatting. I not sure how I got a dinner reservation at a new restaurant. When we arrived we realized it was graduation day and there was a steady stream of people coming and going. The place had lots of staff and we had a great dinner. It‘s been raining on and off all day with thunderstorm warnings. We just barely made it home this afternoon when the rain and thunder started. Tonight I’m feeling walk deprived.

With you all the way Pepper. Amongst recent posts I mentioned our bereavement, but not who. We have had to say our last farewell to my wife's younger sister. I can't share anymore or the tears will flow.
We met up with many friends yesterday, it was good to be out, taking our minds of our present situation. We are heading back there again today, that's after we have been to church.

Today I will be going to the stores for a few things. BF coming to take me. I don't take the morning walk on Sunday because my friend goes to church. So I do other things or walk outside. Not today though unless it clears up. It is raining but was hot in here so I put the air conditioner on. I have been turning it off at night because it blows on me and I get cold.

Hot & Sunny again this morning...
terribly hot during the night, ended up having the Electric fan on most of the night...
My plan is to go out .. my friend and I are going out to look at a big furniture warehouse about an hour from here... and probably go to the pub for a drink.. we've been looking at a country pub close to where the FW is, which we've never been to, so we'll see how that goes..

At 9:30 am my son will be picking me up and we will have a family day at The Bronx Zoo! When I was very young my parents took me & sister there almost every week. The last time I was there, my son was about 3, so that was forty years ago. Forty years ago we went with my sister, her kids, hub & my mom.
Bronx Park/Zoo has always been a very special place for me. Have no idea what I will see; I'm sure in 40 years changes have been made. One of the first zoos to let animals roam in huge open spaces as opposed to only cages.
When I was little, my sister had two pet llamas, no kidding! Whenever she would approach, they would immediately go to her, get up close, get petted. I forgot their given names.
Looking forward to today.

Good Sunday morning everyone.
I’m missing everything and everyone here……I’m disciplining myself to unpacking, getting a schedule in place…..Micki and I are out for walks 4 times a day, which includes chores for Micki…..she loves sitting on the balcony with me, watching everything.
I can’t settle myself down until everything is in its’ place, coming close to that…..just a me thing.
Micki has settled in very well……she loves seeing all the people…..I enjoy it as well…..always someone to say hi, and or talk to…..nice community.
Have been to Sobeys and Tim Hortons……Sobeys will not be my regular place to shop, they’re very expensive.
Tomorrow will be Walmart.
I so wish my wee sweet girl, Shaalee, would have been able to come to, but that wasn’t God’s plan.
I know she’s at peace…..but there’s a big hole in my heart…..and I know it will heal in time…..Micki is at odds without her as well.
Stay well and safe everyone…..will be back soon.

Just catching up after 10 days with wonky internet. We were RV camping, mostly in beach communities.
Summer's toasty weather is just starting to hit here. Even so, cool overnights and low afternoon humidity (after the morning's marine layer burns off) makes it livable.
Our open-air atrium is completely surrounded by the house and has saved a fortune in AC bills over the years. I open the atrium french door at night and our powerful industrial fan pushes cool air through the screen door from 10 pm to 8 am. Cools the house off enough that we don't need AC until daily high temps are consistently in mid 90s+ and/or overnights are in the 70s.

What a scorcher today...temps were at 91 in the breeze.. and 95 in my car... sheesh... gotta go back to the furniture warehouse at another date, they had to close early due to some technical hitches which mean they couldn't take orders... but it's absolutely enormous, so I'll make a point of going back....we had cold drinks in the lovely little pub hidden in the country lane near the airport... and then on the return journey we spotted a Vintage car fest going on..so we pulled in and had a little look see....

Yes, wasn't it just! Nice vehicles collection. Yesterday morning was so hot indoor that no matter how much I tried to use the remote or main button on TV box, it just wouldn't budge.What a scorcher today...temps were at 91 in the breeze.. and 95 in my car... sheesh...
Unplugged waited 120 seconds. Passed a wet cool cloth on the box, dried it and tried again. Bingo! When I told company about it, they weren't surprised as other customers had called regarding that. Apparently, I did what was recommended. Pat on the back lol!

Extra things done today... Opened outdoor storage and handled one heavy storage box. Clearing screws, nails, old drawer handles and dozen upon dozen of wooden rings for curtain poles we no longer have.
Can't wait to see the look on charity shops guy's faces. DIY free stuff lol!
We'll tackle one box daily until all done. First box is a quarter the weight it was before.
Watched all HP and FBWTFT and having a laugh watching Ghostbusters. Finally, this week, going to pick up paint to tackle fence, storage doors and window frames. The ceiling is worrisome as I'll have to regain balance to scrape peeling paint off of ceiling portion. Yikes!
Can't wait to see the look on charity shops guy's faces. DIY free stuff lol!
