gotta go back to the furniture warehouse at another date, they had to close early due to some technical hitches which mean they couldn't take orders... but it's absolutely enormous, so I'll make a point of going back....we had cold drinks in the lovely little pub hidden in the country lane near the airport... and then on the return journey we spotted a Vintage car fest going on..so we pulled in and had a little look see....

I may have missed this but you should have been in therapy for awhile. If you are just starting it may be hard on your recovery. I was on my feet the day of a hip replacement. I hear knees are much harder. @Alligatorob is about a year out and maybe able to give you good advice.
I look forward to my therapy. I started the afternoon after my surgery daily everyday for several hours a day.
Well, @RadishRose and @Trila, I don't have any of the symptoms of an ear infection but there may be some residual stuff from the sinus issues I had with the bronchitis... that's one thing that the GP can check.Inner ear infection?
Mine does, too. That's why thought to mention it. Being dizzy is just a way of life for me now. Especially if I am standing and I try to look up at a top shelf or something.Well, @RadishRose and @Trila, I don't have any of the symptoms of an ear infection but there may be some residual stuff from the sinus issues I had with the bronchitis... that's one thing that the GP can check.
As to blood pressure, mine always runs low, just naturally.
lol..so are you going to tell us what you did ?So I said to myself, "How did you manage to do something so dumb?"
Self: "It was easy. I've had years of practice."
(((GG))), I'm sorry for your loss. Also sorry your family is as awful as mine, but it helps to learn these things about each other. Thank you for sharing; you'd be welcome anywhere in my book. I think you're terrific.@Pepper I understand completely.
I melted a piece of plastic on the bottom of a skillet and on the burner on the stove. It's cleaned up now. I've had years of practice cleaning up messes, too, but never one like this was.lol..so are you going to tell us what you did ?

That is so cool!!!Today we boarded the Battleship USS Iowa in San Pedro <https://pacificbattleship.com> It is now a museum, in the same way as the Aircraft Carrier Midway is a museum in San Diego <www.midway.org> We also visited the private Huntington Library in San Marino <huntington.org> that has 11 million items of which the Gutenberg Bible is the prime attraction. It was printed in 1455 and of the 48 surviving copies only 23 are complete.
