What are you doing today 2023

It's Hot! The heat index is hitting triple digits today so I will be staying in the A/C all day today. The only time I will venture outside is to take my dog out to do his business. I don't even think I will take him on any lengthy sort of walks as he is lazy enough as it is in the regular weather.

I have started the day off a two cups of coffee and will have another cup in a little bit. I may also mop the floors in the kitchen, living room area, and dining area. That will be all I get into today.

I enjoyed that drive, this morning. 😄:giggle:
Very nice small town, there. (y)

And it was a smooth ride, other than the railroad tracks, in both locations, and then, much farther, when the roads become smaller, narrower, and bumpier. ;)

However, I have a few complaints about my outing.:sneaky::LOL:

I wanted from early on, to have you pull over and stop, so that I could take pictures of the expansive flat landscape, and of the wide view of sky and interesting clouds;

But, there's no significant shoulders on any of your roads, to accommodate my frequent requests for such.

And gosh, your streets near your home, narrow to one very narrow lane, for both directions?:unsure:

I would also have liked to stop, at some of the stores, and to visit some of the people in the houses along the way, too, but though pleasant and a very good driver,
you seemed intent on getting home to Mason.;):D

Mason is adorable.
Overall, it was fun. Thanks for sharing.

Exhausted. TL called to tell me that she mentioned to Sir yesterday that she had an 8 am appointment with the eye doc today, and she'd be in when she was done. I left at 11 with mountains...mountains, I tell you...of work left unfinished. TL still wasn't there. Mountains⛰️⛰️⛰️⛰️.

If she doesn't go in at all, tomorrow is going to be a :poop: show:eek:

Our schedules are posted at noon on Friday. Maybe mine will say that I start the 6-10 shift on Sunday. Fingers crossed🤞.

Yesterday's eye appointment went well. With my vision impairment, I have a variety of different issues....in time, each of them will eventually require individual surgeries. Yesterday I had all of the usual tests, etc. Once the results were ready, the doctor came in to go over everything. She pulled up my test results from 2013 (that's when I started going to this facility) for a comparison, and guess what? There has been absolutely NO change in the last 10 years!!! She said that the way it looks now, I may be able to put off those surgeries for at least another 10 years, and maybe more!

I do need stronger reading glasses, but I can still get by with what I have.

I was in the doctor's office for an hour and a half....got lots of reading done!

Afterwards I had a good workout and a great dinner!

Today is too hot to do anything outside. Although earlier I did check fences and tend to one of the gardens that still had shade. Now I'm just hanging around, posting on the forums.

Lots of laundry after a short vacation. Vancouver is absolutely beautiful when the sun shines, not so much when it’s pouring. Fortunately the last two of the four days were pleasant. Lots of walking and lots of eating. Big cities and crowds and crazy traffic didn’t used to bother me; they sure do now. Happy to have slept in my own bed last night.

I'm soooo glad that I'm out of the work force....I have a hard time putting up with that kind of cr*p!!! Ok...breathe, breathe and take things one at a time!

Thanks @Kaila !!! :)
While your diversionary thoughts are quite worthy of consideration, could only do so much in 9min :ROFLMAO: ;)

In my neighborhood, all the trash bins were out on the street because it was our day for city pickup.
All the streets are two way but some so narrow, tires are in gutters when meeting and passing others.
My house was built in 1945 and I wouldn't be shocked to find it was on a dirt road at the time.

I did the laundry today... and the last of it is in the dryer now... however I've gone and broke the dryer door.. I stupidly slammed the door shut and the latch broke... and so the door couldn't shut. It's not within my capabilities to fix the door, but I have rigged up a system using a security pole.. to keep the door closed tightly while the last of the washing gets dried...

I've had that dryer a very long time..it's been a great machine..dries all the clothes in a fraction of the time of new dryers.. over the years it broke down 3 times ( 25 years)... and soon2Bex.. fixed it each time.. and saved me the cost of a new one.. but I might have to bite the bullet this time sadly..

button fly.jpg
Now you don't get that kind of fitting with a high street tailor. My wife is still working on my new trousers, I have just tried them on to check that the marriage tackle is comfortable. A button up fly has always been my preference, the lady never complains, she makes the panel where the buttonholes go then sews it into the garment. Poking a marker through the buttonhole gives her an accurate point when sewing on the buttons. They always fit perfectly.

Ladies what is the most comfortable bra made?

The type I used to like was changed and made horrible a couple years ago, so I switched to a type from Amazon that has over 40,000 reviews and I really like them. The price is best on Prime Day in November (I think they were $16 then), currently ranging from $21 to $40+ depending on whether it is a cute color. I go with boring colors to save money.
Name of the bra is

Warner's Women's Easy Does It® Underarm-smoothing With Seamless Stretch Wireless Lightly Lined Comfort Bra Rm3911a
