yesterday about my copd, app't for oct 13th I think...took em
3 month to make the app't...

Another bit of pondering πŸ˜‚. Tell a friend of the good news you've just found and they ignore the message completely, no rebuttal at all. Jealousy? I don't know what to think...

We were planning a day trip back in August. Waiting on calls to be returned (they'd be warned they had till end of August) I missed the deadline for booking said day trip.

On the service website, no more dates available for summer 2023. Blast!!! Sorry 😐

Two days ago got an idea to seek another and better service, so I checked online.

Eureka, beautiful coaches providing InterCity travels. With NEC it's going to be free. So, maybe that's why friend was upset, what do you think?

As once again, feel guilty about telling shoo...

@Supernatural And here's what I have to say about that: Pffft. That's a friend?

I spent a few hours in the garden and got everything in the pots planted. There should be enough warm weather yet for them to establish strong roots. Then I'll baby them and hope they overwinter well and come back in the spring.

Then...you know how it goes. There's that one more thing I spied that needed to be done, then one more thing, and yet another thing...

I stayed out there working about an hour after I should have stopped for the day. However, now I'm all showered and in clean clothes so after a short rest some indoor stuff will get done (in the A/C!).

I know @Georgiagranny I've got the weirdest of friends in real life sometimes lol.

No luck with indoor or outdoor plants lately. Although I believe that low self esteem hurts the plants as much as it hurts me.

Last try was aΒ£4.99 bargain for a beautiful sunflower. It specified to put outdoors. I did... Well, the wind and rain did a number on it and after the original flower disintegrated, two new heads burst out. After two weeks, all of it had perished. I give up...lol!

To my travelling friends here. Wee question if you know thanks, if you don't that's fine too. Cheers!

Restaurants in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh. Any good recommendations? Thanks!

Sorry, mind's in overdrive today along with migraine and crying my eyes out. Still can't get any doctors appointments all booked...

@Supernatural Your plants have low self esteem? LOL Maybe you should have been talking to them and speaking encouraging words.

Years ago, an aunt tried to grow an avocado plant from the seed. It did fine until it got to the point when it was time to pinch it back. After that, it just wouldn't cooperate. She did everything right, including talking to it. One day she'd had enough and told it "grow, dammit, or you're going out with the trash!"

It didn't grow. It went out with the trash.

What was going to be a short rest turned into a nap and deep sleep. I dreamed it was raining and swear it was so real that I rushed outside to rescue my chair cushions. The sun was shining brightly. Something I ate? All I had for lunch was a bit of leftover kielbasa and roasted veggies.

Okay. Enough with the dilly dallying (I caught it from @CinnamonSugar yesterday). Time to tackle the housekeeping chores that I mentioned earlier.

@hollydolly Are you back yet? Did you buy anything fun?

Oh! The bulbs for my new lamp came. Fat lot of good they do me until the lamp comes, too :(

A bear got through our electric-fence system during very recent nights, so we've harvested the corn & squash that it didn't get. The corn was 95% harvested before, but with the squash we're now harvesting the bulk of the crop. And we've been forced to harvest it early.

I've whacked down the corn stalks, and I'm doing clean-up of the squash vines & foliage (just taking a break now).

In any lifestyle, you've gotta take the bad with the good, and we're used to gripping-up in numerous ways. As a balance, the sun is shining, very little cloud, the temperature is forecast for a very moderate 75*F (22*C, for the Canadian members). To put it into perspective, we had temps up around 100*F during the period when forest wildfires were coming nearby... that may be past, from now until next summer.:) It's not fun living with that menace.

why are you crying, what's happened ?
Just the pent-up tears since hubby died. (Sorry battery died on phone, it's charging). I get a migraine 2-3 days in a row, third day I'm just balling my eyes out. Stiff upper lip and all, but some days it just overwhelmes me.

Questions asked on phone from nurse just brought everything to the fore. I just need something to ease my nerves, I've been on edge too long. SORRY!

Grrrrrr...setting here cursing cause the "new" bank that bought
out our old bank won't let me on webpage....I know damn well
I'm using correct passwords etc, but nope no good.....grrrrrtr
We had that same problem, last year, in late 2022, so you are not the only one!
(It feels like it, when you struggle to get into your own account and can't :eek:o_O:cautious:)

After feeling the stress of it, several times, I decided to jump ship, and switch to a local credit union, which worked out well for me.
Might not work well for you, of course, if you have different type of accounts than what we had in that one.
