Today, I got a lot of stuff done. I will have to do some gardening this afternoon. The weather is beautiful.
Yesterday, we went for our afternoon cruise in the golf cart. I noticed something in the road but could not figure out what it was until we got closer...crossing the street and heading to the lake was a baby alligator! For a minute, I looked around to see if his mother was with him...panic for a minute...but she was not visible!
Here he is:

I'll mow the lawn..... yes I will, definitely, I kept telling myself..... then I found a packet of chocolate biscuits in the cupboard and thought, I'll need a pot of tea to go with them, and then, well, it looks like rain so I'll park my backside and watch the TV. 😊
No it doesn't look like rain you shyster.... :ROFLMAO:...mind you, I've heard that tomorrow is to be a huge storm country wide, with only us in the South East unaffected ...so batten down those hatches Tim...

I'm home.

TL had a problem this morning. Her car died. She called Uber. 30 minutes later she got a text from the driver telling her he'd been in an accident and Uber was sending someone else. An hour later, the "someone else" showed up. She was two hours late for work.

Now sh!t happens, but today wasn't the day for sh!t to happen to her because just yesterday she got read the riot act by the store manager. Wut wo:oops:

Today was the first day back on the 6-12 hours. That extra hour lasts much longer than an hour.

Gonna play with my new laptop to get used to the different feel.

@timoc Sounds like you will need water wings to go along with your tea and biscuits. Jussayin'

@Georgiagranny said: It would have been easier to work today than deal with the computer stuff. I just can't anymore today. What do I want? I WANT A BLANKETY-BLANK CIGARETTE!!!! Yes. It's been that bad.

Dear you need to look into, seriously, vaping e-liquid with equipment with nicotine. Trust me, you'll enjoy what's needed a cleaner water based smoke with nicotine and amazing flavours. I gave up back round 2015 and never looked back.

My allergies and nerves which were exaggerated with the smoking of cigarettes is now gone. I can sing again, walk for hours and not run out of breath anymore. The money savings over these years have been welcoming.

After the initial costs of your preferred vaping pens and coils, it costs me about £42 a month for 16 (10mL) bottles with 1.8 mg nicotine.

I've three SMOK batteries with 6 liquid containers (2 comes with each battery). This site is in the USA. Hoping it's useful if interested!

Our area finally got a Dog Park built.
Not really finished, but fence is up with a couple of benches , poop bags dispenser & dogie water fountain.

Finally talked hubby into taking us to check it out.
First time there,,one dog on the side for small dogs.
Mac was more interested in seeing where he could escape,, than making a new friend.
Second. tine an old dog in the small side, no one in the over 30 pound side.
Took Mac to the big dog side was afraid he'd hurt the other dog.

We took a toy for him to case.....nope not interested.
Same for today,,no dogs,, still didn't want to play,,just trot around smelling & leaving his 'mark'.

To the doctor today, for the every 6 months required blood work for my medications. Nurse asked which arm, I put them both out and say which ever but the left always seems to be best. She says no the right looks best, you guessed, vein rolled in the right, so I got a second poke in the left and it went great. Now, I look like a druggie, bruising coming up on both arms.

Asked for my flu shot, so the doc after out talk, says I will send the nurse right in with the flu shot. I sat there for 20 minutes, so I open the door, no one there. I stand in the doorway, the doc comes out of another room. She says have you not had your shot, duh, no. So she sends me to the lab and says she will send someone down. Nope, go back and have to hunt down the doc. After 10 more minutes someone comes with the shot.

Doc, comes back and explains they are having a hard time finding employees, CNAs to work or stay for any length of time. I have been at this practice for over 30 years. I have always known the nurses and got a prompt response when I called for anything. Since COVID, things have gone downhill. I like them because of inhouse lab and xray available. The doctor I have now took over from my previous doctor. I really like her, but everything else has gone bad.

Is it time to find a new doctor? I liked this family practice. it is close to home, they have the needed services and weekend doctors available if needed. I am just wondering if now is the time to switch to a geriatric type physician. What is your experience, have you done better with a doctor for the older generation?

Okay, then. I'm up and will be at 'em shortly. Lemme get dressed first.

Don't want to jinx myself, but I've been sleeping really well for the last week or so. There's a full moon 🌕Friday so that could change.

This keyboard is very sensitive so I don't dare rest my fingers on it because it'll do thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssss..

Later, kids...

just wanted to let you know I found some frozen crescents at Walmart. I have not baked them yet. I hope they are tasty!!

Have a great trip, @OneEyedDiva !
Thank you so much Sugar❣
@Pepper How is your grandson? When my son was little and ran a 103 fever, I took him to the ER. 105 would really scare me! Your kittens will be so cute, fun and sweet that they will carve their own places in your heart.

Stop worrying...things will work out. You GOT this! And please...stop inventing things to worry about! And yes, perhaps your tendency to do that should be posted in the mental health section. I'll bet you'll get interesting, supportive feedback. 🤗

Sunny today... gonna go out in a little while and pick up some groceries... but nothing else on the agenda for today...

Made phone calls so far. Argh, some are frustrating as due to security reasons they can't change the information provided. Just got to go to office BUT THEN AGAIN the person on the phone line DID take one important thing. Go flippin figure, right? 🙃

Second one, important as well, was to find a plumber with good reputation and affordable prices. I've to replace two sinks faucets for ease of access on bathroom sink the other kitchen one is defective and lasted 3 years more than warranty lol.

Kitchen sink is complicated as it's stuck behind pipes for washing machine. Nightmare! The bathroom one, haven't figured how to remove panel yet lol.

Shower installation will have to wait till early next year, I've too much on my plate to deal with everything in one shot. Yuck!

Otherwise, it's back to Todo list and taking things easygoing. I'll deal with outside things later. Seriously, not in the mood and body not cooperating either 😆😆😆

PS: updated to brand new email for Skype, but being stubborn accessing photo folder lol. I guess I can fix it later on, no rush 🙃

This morning walking to Canopy of Neighbor office to do some filing around 9. Afterwards I leave, will walk over to Marcia&Dave's house to dog sit, my 'buddy boy' Tage. Marcia is at workshop/ meeting,Tage would be in his crate since 7:30,I'll take him in the backyard for him to do his business. She told me she should be home around 1;15. This will be the highlight of my day

You need a pup of your own. They are so much company and bring joy to your life everyday. Some one to take a walk with, cuddle and make you laugh!!

Hi Diva, my grandson is fine now. It was scary. When I was a kid my temp went up to 106! It must have been a Tuesday night, as my sister was so worried about me she didn't watch the Milton Berle show!

I didn't make it up. I am very intuitive. There is a problem with all six of the kittens in the litter. They are mostly being held back from adoption due to colds & etc. I don't know how long the delay will be. I'm asking for them anyway. My son is involved. We'll see. I won't take too long. I want kittens, babies, not juveniles. I'll wait up to a week only, but want them this Saturday as originally promised.

So, it wasn't a mental health issue for me. It's a knowing stuff without solid evidence thing for me. I know stuff in advance. I question myself because I'm surprised at the truths I come up with.
