Tomorrow I get to go to work. Yay.

I don't feel pretty good is what my kids used to say. And I don't. Took some Tylenol for a slight fever. Maybe a UTI trying to get started. AZO, cranberry juice, pineapple juice.

I'd say early to bed, but that's always the case. Maybe earlier to bed and hope I feel like myself tomorrow.

went out for breakfast,full English with extra black pudding,,,,got back,letter from docs attend an appointment on 19th,,,dah,,ist 20th today,,,,,phoned told them get a grip,theres postal strikes on,,,,so got me into day at midday.
so,nurse had printed out a few pages on pre diabetis,,,im am a diabetic i said,,not on my screen your not she says,,,long story got her to get a doctor in,lots of looking through notes,,im diabetic,,so appointment on 26th to start a diet control whatever,,,,piss up in a brewery comes to mind
 
Today the local news (Binghamton WBNG) is coming here. That is unless someone tipped off Conifer Realty and they stop them from coming in the building. I guess they can ban people, even relatives or friends from coming in because it is private property. I don't really see that the news can help in any way. As long as they have records of the elevator company working on it and ordering the new parts. But.........the fact that there is no manager or maintenance man here to assist us might not look good. Only three times did I get an assistance from Conifer employees. So we shall see what happens.

Awake since 0500 (blasted Dictator Bladder); up since 0600. Devotions and --YAY-- a pot of Barry's Irish tea; my FAVORITE!! Isn't the smell from a newly opened box of tea bags just *intoxicating*?

Vacuuming, dusting, rearranging.

Today's agenda includes: trip to post office to mail homemade granola to children who live out of state, library, Lowe's for potting soil (gotta repot my majestic palm) and possibly look for a slide-out organizer for lower cupboard which houses shallow baking pans/ cookie sheets and cooling racks. I'm tired of having everything cascade out on my foot when I open the door + it's harder to reach the back part of cupboard.

I have to call Social Security to find out what happened to my January payment; any of your monthly payments sometimes go AWOL? I should have a knitting project handy for while I wait on hold =P
 
Woke up late today. 7am. Always feel strange to wake up later than my normal 4am-ish. Strange but better, more rested. Must schlep to bank today. Need actual cash. Wanted to go this morning, but since I woke up so incredibly late I will go after Young & Restless ends at 1:30pm.
 
Today…..seeing it’s Friday already…..wondering where the days are going, they just seem to fly away.
Usual cleaning chores…..made a decision on something else that I’m going to let go.
While going through all my hobby things, I decided to let go of my adult colouring books and pencil crayons.
It was a choice of keeping them or my cross stitch supplies.
The cross stitch supplies won.
I know the prices on the book covers are expensive…..but…..being a thrifter…..I’ve collected the books over a number of years, picking them up when the sale price becomes almost free……thinking in my future years, may be a good hobby…..but….I’m not as interested in them as much as I thought I would be……so…..there isn’t a lot of money invested in them.
Not selling them…..just wanting to find someone who would enjoy them.

Have almost finished shortening the jeggings I have, have some dressier black stretch pants need shortening, that I’ll start on the alterations.
Yes…..bought pants…..but again, like the jeggings, almost free on sale a while ago, stocked up.
 
Boiler engineer has been and gone.. everything perfect he said. For months I've had a problem with one of the bedroom radiators.. so I cheekily asked him if he would see if he could get it turned on, because I've tried many times..bleeding it.. but it remains steadfastly off, and that bedroom has been freezing for weeks.. He happily said yes, and within 2 minutes he had it fixed.. for free.. yeahh!

Got woke up at 4:45 as my Ring camera started buzzing. I went out to see what I could, but persons had left. Got them both on camera to should cops if one of my neighbors finds something missing. Looks like one of them was checking cars to see if doors were unlocked.
Have a video chat at 11:30 with my VA doctor to discuss changing inhaler. Seems like there is something not quite right with old one and I will probably need to change again. Wish they would go back to Symbacort. Worked good for me.
 
Just a tick ago, was wondering why after a few years I can't find extra people to chat with on my Skype.

People show up at having a Skype account but they don't reply to it. Very strange... However, it seems that finding them nowadays, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack lol!

Lunch was chicken sandwiches with sloup (😂😂😂)
Dinner will be Fish and Chips after all it's Friday

OMG! today was so cold! Popped to the supermarket to pick up a few bits while it was quiet and took the scenic walk back along the canal. Lovely and bright but, my goodness, even with layers on I was cold. The upside is that it's so nice now, sitting in the warm drinking hot coffee :)

I've been trying to catch up with everyone, and all's I can say is....you all sure are a busy lot!!!

I have been keeping very busy, too! I think I need more hours in each day, and maybe an extra day in each week!

We have a very large dead tree that, if it falls on it's own, it is in a very bad place. The trunk splits into 3 trunks, each over a foot in diameter. Dio has cut the first (and easiest) trunk....and I have been breaking the smaller branches and dragging away the pieces. (I still haven't finished the $%%#%&$ last privit bush, but it's off to the side and out of the way. For now, the privit can wait.) There is so much wood from the dead tree, that I expect we will be having another bonfire sometime soon.

When I'm not working outside, I'm in the house sewing, playing video games, reading, or watching tv.....I have spent very little time on my forums or Facebook.

And today I will be getting ready to go to Branson tomorrow. Janeen (the owner) is out of town, so we expect to get there earlier than usual, to be sure that everything is ready for the parties, etc.
