What are you doing today 2023

Found some plants at last.

I got cyclamen and anenome that will go in pots and haven't been planted yet. Also got coral bells, blue senetti, snapdragons, and a few others.

My Self got tired so I gave it up for the day.

My hope was that getting down and dirty in the garden would help my mood. I was fine while outside digging and stuff, but as soon as I came back in and changed my clothes, I felt low again. Wish I knew what it would take to feel better.

Let us hope that we don't have any more killing frost.
 

Busy weekend. After much discussion during the last 2 weeks, we decided to remove the bright, loud flames from the car, and go with a more subtle pin striped flames and a lot more old school pin striping. It worked as we hit two car shows this weekend. (a first for us as we never do shows). Worked out though... we won best of show at one, (80 cars) and best old school at the other. (200 cars) Mama is happy. :)

Yeah, I know. I'm very healthy and active, so Golden Years may be a bit of a misnomer. The thing is, when I was working I never thought about the remainder of my life. Now that I'm retired, I think about it more often and want to make the most of every moment I have left. I still feel like I'm in the prime of my life, so I won't say that again! 🤣
 
Not much. Just chilled for most of the day, watched T.V. and took a nap this afternoon. I called two of my friends and had nice, interesting conversations. One was the friend who's doing my video and we confirmed what tweaks will be made before finalizing it. I had to go on Facebook because a couple of my friends have birthdays today and I love posting beautiful graphic comments. After doing those, I realized I have more HBD messages to react and respond to. Of course I spent some time here on the forum.

As for Will Trent, I really do enjoy this new series. Quirky for sure, but it's put together differently. Now, @OneEyedDiva , when I'm watching I'll know you are, too!

I just read that we will have to wait until March 21st for a new episode!! OMG..I'm so hooked right now that I hate the wait. Have you seen all the episodes so far?

Yes have seen all eight episodes (Streamed), can`t post links here though, stick with it a good ending!

Spent half an hour trying to get through to the doctors and then 20 minutes on hold as you move up the queue!
All because the annual blood tests the surgery insist I book before my next prescription are not an option on MyHealthOnline!
Crazy system
 
There's a cold windy front rolling in tonight and I've got a dental appointment Wed. so I'm headed to the gun range to do some shooting this morning as soon as it gets light out......it's a comfortable, clear, 59° with hardly any right breeze now.

Plan on putting about 150 rounds of 9mm through this this morning.

You'll do fine, @Pappy and I know many of us will be having you in our thoughts this afternoon. Glad to hear your daughter is there to help you... that must be a tremendous load off knowing she's there to make sure things go well. Take care of yourself... sounds as if you're in good hands! 🤗

why what happened yesterday ?.. you seem to have a lot of these days recently.. not surprising given your state of health .. but did something extra happen lately to cause y this , this time..I hope not! :(

Monday Morning coming down!!! Morning folks...it is 55deg F here this morning, up near 70 I think...having a hard time breathing for some reason today, but I'm still here!!! Still
got to get some laundry done, so guess that will be it for
the day...take care all......;)
 
Very cold today. We're forecast for snow and ths sky looks heavy enough for it. I can see people from my window walking their dogs fully wrapped up against the cold.. . I had planned to go out today to a town about 15 miles from here, but I've decided against it.. it's not urgent so it can wait... I'm just going to stay hunkered down in the warm..

(((Holly))). I don't know why these intense feelings happen from time to time when each day is so much like the last. I try to go with the flow until it passes. I left the apartment for over an hour & that helped.
