What are you doing today 2023

Today we are visiting our ex partner in the hospital - he fell and broke 3 ribs. Will be doing rehab for a while too. His daughter is coming across the pond to stay with he and wife (wife have a valve replacement, went home, had heart issues and they put in a pacemaker - just a couple weeks ago).

Zoom meeting with my therapist. We are working on my fear & dread of AccessARide. It actually helped for last week's trip, but I have so much more to learn. I Zoom this therapist every other week. AccessARide has been my biggest pain, thank goodness it's not something even worse.

Tomorrow I'm staying over for dinner so AAR will be an hour later. An hour closer to my "I'm so tired I must go to bed" time.....I feel like a hostage with AAR, gives me panic.
I had a therapist in Fresno right before Covid hit. It was for health anxiety and just so happened she also helped me when Pickles died. I really liked her but then Covid hit and I moved.
I don’t know what AAR is though.

Morning folks....slept good again, yay, 44deg F here, and good chances of rain today...dunno what I am up to today but I'm
sure something will pop up......oh, I stumbled coming thru front door and caught the door knob and went sideways with a big
thump into the wall with the door, so now have a 2inch hole in
the drywall damnit.....got to find someone to fix that now...always something....

Warm and mostly sunny day with a nice breeze. Caught up with the washing and have it out of the line to dry. I've been reducing the size of the fruit cage to make it more manageable and we'll plant new strawberry and raspberry plants in it.
I went to the coal / logs / potato merchant and bought another bag of potatoes (Maris Piper). Miraculously the price hadn't gone up and was £8 (about $10) for a 25 kg / 56 lbs bag. Ordered a load of logs for the fire to be delivered on Monday.

Today…..being so cold…..nothing outside.
Taking my wee girl, Shaalee to the groomer this morning…..pick up the mail, which I haven’t done for over a week.
The rest of the day…..open to offers.
Oh…..garbage bin to the curb for pick up.
 It would seem that my dirty dishes have been breeding in the kitchen. So, if you're looking for something to......

There is always something to add excitement to the day. 😉

That's a lot of potatoes!!!! 😂

We finally picked a fitness center to join. It's not close, but we can use it on days that we're going to town, anyway.

Dio is obviously sick today, with a head cold, aches, on and off fever, etc. He isn't planning on doing much today other than a load of laundry. Most likely, we'll both do a lot of laying around, watching tv, reading, etc.

It's a rain day, so Andy is also laying around (just like he does on sunny days!) ☔

I bought a pc of corned beef yesterday, so I'll be making that for dinner. It's been a few years since we had that, and we're both looking forward to it.

Went to feed the cats. Had noticed down the street from me on the way there a large bag of trash, slightly to the side. When I cam back it was still intact. I was afraid some jerk would think it was fun to run it over and the trash could blow all over and down to one of the fake lakes where the ducks and geese are. So I walked back after parking my car and taking my purse to the apartment and got it. Threw it in the apartment dumpster.

Realized I was low on cash and better get to the bank and found 200 dollars I forgot I had in an envelope.

It's been sunny for the most part today... we had a shower mid afternoon.. but I've stayed home. I'm trying to clear out all excess pictures on my my computer, and there's so many duplicates this is taking forever... . I've got over 70,000 pictures on here including dozens of videos ..

I'm dedicating today to it.. altho' now my shoulder hurts.. but I have other fish to fry the rest of the week... so what gets done today will be as much as I can do for the next few days..

Love your new pic!

I'm waking up earlier these days. Maybe because the sun is rising earlier; no Daylight Saving here. Or maybe my winter depression is lifting. 😃

I still haven't received my T4As (for taxes), so I'll see if I can get them online. If not, I'll decide on the next step, to be done another day.

Book club meeting is this evening. I want to reread the book (it's short). That will take some time.

That doesn't leave much time/energy for anything else. So I guess that will be it for today.

Well, decided to go for coffee. (Rattle, rattle) goes the front brakes. No big deal, just front brakes needing replacement. Pads are $66 Rotors (Auto shops now won't turn rotors as that would be the same cost as new) $75 ea so $210 and labor is unknown.

At my age, the bolts are impacted on. I'd have a heart attack trying to get them off. Well. Coffee is good, breakfast was good. 2 out of three ain't bad....
