37 houseplants and counting.....Today is plant watering day, a few are drooping and begging for H20.....time to weed them down.
Oh my! I have 8 and sometimes feel like they overwhelm me. Each one I keep for sentimental values, 5 having come from my Daddy who died in 2012. It is my constant connection with him. Now I am thinking of transplanting them because they may be root bound or need a bigger pot.

Celebrating son's birthday today. It's not his BD yet, but his wife must work late on his BD so it's 🎂 today. Going to see him, plans are to take Grandson to park on his scooter, eat well, have cake, open presents. He accidentally opened mine by mistake two days ago, but he will pretend he didn't! Son has two week vac due to all the religious holidays.

Today I can't stop thinking about yesterday.
I decided to do a big shop at my local Walmart and get there only to find it closed and police and emergency trucks all over the parking lot.
There was a fire somewhere in the building on March 30 around 7pm but fortunately everyone got out safely.
But the thing is ...it was deliberately set..yes arson...with. people still in the building and now apparently a gas leakage from somewhere.

What is wrong with these people who resort to this horrible act ????

Saturday our local Walmart had a fire alarm go off and everyone had to evacuate and leave their carts. They said someone pulled the alarm. No fire that I heard of.

A relaxing day after a busy weekend spent with my Daughter , we went to Lincoln Cathedral and round the Shops there , plus 2 garden Centres where i spent my Mothers Day Voucher .
I was asked to write my Mums Eulogy at the weekend , the Funeral is coming up this week , its been 6 weeks since Mum died , arrangements are so slow moving now , .By the time I had finished writing , my head was pounding , my brain had never worked so hard .

Woke up this morning to a hard Frost , the Bird bath was frozen over , and the roof tops were white .the sun is now trying to come out .

Have a good day .

Funny you should go to Lincoln... I was in Stamford at the weekend. I like Lincoln a lot is a lovely little city , but because of my knees the very steep streets play havoc with my knees.. so I don't go any more. Steep hill is the worst...aptly named lol

Okay. Hair blued. Me showered and dressed. Next up is taking the cover off the weighted blanket so it can be laundered.

Yes, @hollydolly Please do also be milk monitor. You might also be needed at noon to be lunch room monitor.

@katlupe I have a mother-in-law's tongue that I got from my dad who got it from my grandmother...he told me that the first time he really remembered seeing it was when he got home from the first day of kindergarten when he was five. That would have been in 1921. It's been divided a million times and pieces given to each of the aunt/uncles and their kids/grandkids.

Time to get moving again.

During my first marriage I found that I killed every house-plant I ever tried to grow, but had success with M-I-L- plants.. so I grew them for many years...

It's a lovely sunny day.. I've been out in the garden pulling up weeds from the paths.. the grass is so long now, so I've put the lawnmower on charge..I might give the rear lawn the first cut of the seasons today. See how I feel.

Up here in the office room, I'd like to open the windows, but the noise from the neighbours across the road, still digging and pulling up all those hedges, is very loud..

Thanks Jet..I'll try that... the moss really has to come out.. so I will give it a go... ..is it ok if the grass is still slightly damp ?
