Alternating between air conditioning and heat, thermostat is getting confused here.

Typing on phone today, a pain but mouse broke this morning and at a most inconvenient time when I was trying to get into my government tax and pension account and gave up

Then when I tried to turn outside water on I see the shut off under the kitchen sink is dripping so waiting now for that fix.

Going to have a glass of wine, maybe finish the bottle

🍾🍷🍾🍷🍾 I have wine too, and my own glass, be there shortly.

Today is like most days have been for me lately. My daughter complained to me that I make my husband do too much for me and that I just enjoy sitting down. She doesn't think I wish I could do more. She seems to forget that I have stage 4 kidney failure and a swollen leg that doesn't have the strength to make me stand on it. I think it's time for me to scream

why don't you just remind your daughter? tell her what you tell us.. that she's being rude and disrespectful...

It is often that people who are ill or in pain are dismissed. If others can't see the problem, even though well documented by doctors, tests and a myriad of prescriptions are treated badly. It is heartbreaking to those who are suffering. They miss the life they once had, they want to be able to take care of their homes, families and participate in things they used to do.

Today was like a summer day. The high was 87, real feel 93, so I took the train to the waterfront park in Hoboken, N.J. It's on the Hudson River, right across from New York City. I ate lunch then walked the promenade and put in about 3 miles considering the walk to and from the trains. The park is a great place to people watch. There are folks walking their dogs, mothers pushing their babies, people jogging, children playing in the designated area and one lady was sleeping on the bench, almost "planking" with her head to the sun like she was sunbathing. There were plenty of shirtless young men, young women with shorts and some with fitness pants that were waaaay too tight. There were also vendors selling their wares; one was selling small paintings. Another was selling Italian ices which I opted for on the way back to the train station. I chose coconut, it was just the right consistency and very refreshing. When I was getting off the train to go home, a young man said "You look sexy". I smirked, said "Thank you but I'm old enough to be your grandmother". Now mind you...I was wearing sweatpants, a long sleeved tunic top and of course, my hair was covered.

I want to give honorable mention to yesterday since I fell asleep before I could post about what was a very productive day.
~I washed clothes about 2 a.m. This always involves disinfecting any surface me and my clean clothes will come in contact with, including the outside and rim of the machine, the faucet handle and laundry cart.
~Loaded and ran the dishwasher around 8. I don't do it while neighbors are sleeping, even though I suspect they can't hear the loudest part of the cycle.
~Walked downtown to get another plastic tote for my clean laundry, stopped at Taco Bell for a Chalupa then it was on
to the Amazon Hub to pick up my package.
~When I left there, I walked over to the supermarket to pick up a couple of items.
~After eating my Chalupa, I dried my clothes and put most of them away.
~My son sat with me and broke his fast while I filled two pill cases.
~I also made a couple of business calls.

Ive had a restless night with the dog needing the toilet ,I think ive caught up with sleep now , I need to get out of bed and go collect my repeat prescription.
I left the Theatre at the halfway break yesterday , The fake Southern American accent was not clear enough for me and I was missing some of the words ,maybe im going deaf. The person next to me fell asleep and started snoring which didnt help .
Have a nice day

Sassycakes……so sorry you’re having to endure this unkindness……you don’t deserve it. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸.

Well yesterday, Colorado Low, just landed some rain showers through Wednesday nite and that was it……cool and cloudy with a northeast wind…..still dreary for today and tomorrow.

Last nite after supper, a friend came over, the same friend I had quality time with on Tuesday……such a nice bonus.
4 hours later…..we were still chattering.

I have 6 Rubbermaid storage tubs I was going to list once I get them washed up……don’t have to list now, she wants to buy them. 😀.

I had some things that I was gifting to her…..4 wind spinners…..kept 4 to stay with the yard.
An antique shop stool I had in the garage…..hers…..she loves it……got it from a garbage dump.

As dreary as it was out yesterday, feathered friends were in full chorus, enjoyed that several times during the day.

Doing my usual cleaning chores.

House is being shown at 5:30 today……so packing up the guys and off during the showing.

The realtor has had to come back several times to set the sign in…..as the snow melts, kept falling over……but I see yesterday she was able to get it pounded into the ground.

If I get time, May get some thinking done……maybe……🤔😉🙃🤔.

We are having unusually hot , yes hot! weather and I think I might venture out on a small grocery shopping trip today.
Yesterday was one of those days when you know, you think you might do this and that and don't do anything.

Dull and boring day nursing aches and pains and other stuff so today I am gonna get going and look for something nice to buy for myself.
I don't know what . Thought I would take my walker and wander around our local mall.

Well..I've had a very busy morning.. . First to the doctor.. but I was early so I had a coffee in the pub first..

Then saw the doc who actually spent 30 minutes with me instead of the permitted 10 minutes.. and I've to have X-rays of my legs done.. she spotted that not one which I've always been told, but 2 of my kneecaps are out of alignment...she's prescribed painkillers, and a sleep aid.. and now I've just got to wait for a call from the Radiology dept..

From there I drove into North London , took the Royal blue blouse I showed you all last week.. to the dressmaker to be altered.. cost me almost as much to have it altered than it cost to buy. .. then to M&S to return an item.. Then to Tesco.. bought a watering can & 2 plant holders, and some candy floss grapes ( Tesco packed) ..by now it was lashing down of rain... then to the Pub to meet my friend for lunch.. pub was almost empty which is unusual for a Friday afternoon

From there to the garage to get air in my tyres... it's astonishing that I can't get air from any garage near where I live.. every garage used to have air pumps but not now..

So Doctors, Tesco, M&S, Pub ( twice, different pubs)... and air in my tyres.. not to mention the drive into the city and back.

Oh and btw I saw a rat.. *UGH* it was about 2 feet from me as I crossed the bridge over the river... *shudder*

It's past 2.30pm now.. and I'm staying home.. until at least Sunday :D
