Likkle Grandson’s Chickenpox seems to have peaked - hopefully on the mend from here :)

I’m currently sat in the cafe at the gym trying to eat soup, with my hands shaking the soup off the spoon lol. That was a good workout haha!!! :ROFLMAO:

Here you are @StarSong & @Kaila... 10 minute relaxation

Thank you - I just turned it on for a calming moment (it worked!). Saved the link to my desktop's home screen and will watch again and again. Got the little fella coming in a few minutes so I'll be chasing him around the house for the next 9 hours!

An immediately accessible waterfall zen minute or two is much appreciated. Thanks for thinking of me. ♥️

my hands shake as well after doing something strenuous.. ( no smirking at the back there )... or if I've been carrying a heavy load..

Well…..my appointment with the lawnmower didn’t last the hour I needed…..was supposed to rain, late this afternoon…..but came this morning…..had 15 more minutes of mowing…..now am waiting.
Doing the elevator thing with the thermostat again….turned it up. 🥶.

Yanno what I miss? Lilacs. And rhubarb. I love lilacs, but they won't grow here because it's too hot:cry: We had two beautiful lilac bushes at our house in Michigan. And rhubarb. We had rhubarb growing in our yard. Those were two signs of spring that I loved and miss a lot.

Of course, I don't miss that spring arrived there around the end of May/first of June. That's also about the time the ice on Lake Superior melted. Usually. I don't miss that one bit.

UGH can't stand rhubarb. When I moved into this house many years ago.. a third of the garden was taken up with rhubarb plants.. and another third of Blackberries..

I’m with you on the lilacs, @Georgiagranny That was always a very welcome sight (abd smell!) after a long winter in upstate NY

When I came home last night Buffy was waiting near the door. She actually yelled at me for the next hour and wouldn't leave my side. She missed me. I missed her too. Her fur was angry too! Gotta be a cat lover to understand that one!

This morning all purry and soft furred again. Love her so much 😽

Today we will hang out. I closed off her "room." She always went to where I was, now I go to her to hang out, so closing her door makes it easier for me.

Maggiecat decided that 4am is breakfast time and that I can darned well get up and feed her. So I did. Then I went back to bed and didn't get up until after 7. Maybe I was tired. Can't remember the last time I got up, then went back to bed.

It's supposed to be a rainy day. The radar isn't showing any rain for the next few hours so I'm gonna get dressed and make my rounds in the garden to deadhead and yank up a weed or three.

My bright idea of filling every space with flowers is taking over my brain whenever I sit outside and can envision spaces filled with...whatever I can think of! Bleeding heart would be pretty except that it doesn't like full sun. Scratch bleeding heart. At the moment, cosmos and stock come to mind.

After making my rounds, there's housekeeping crap to catch up. I need a maid🧹

As I mentioned yesterday, was mowing the back yard…..rain came earlier than forecasted…..quit around noon…..and never dried up to finish the last 15 minutes.
Mowing won’t happen today…..woke up to 6c…..only supposed to get to 9c……possible showers…..very wet from heavy dew.

Spent a lot of time on the phone yesterday….setting up moving day…..making appointment for signing lease for my apartment, for next Friday, May 26……talking to friends.

Today, doing the grocery thing.
Getting things together for garbage…..that I didn’t want to get rid of till the house sold…..mainly grubby clothes I wear outside for yard work…..heavy parkas that I won’t use anymore, that I used when out with the guys, not good for give away, they are well worn.

And….some down time…..have stress relief, now the house is sold.

Dang!!
I was sure I was gonna win last night's big 649 draw but only two numbers checked.
I was all set to buy the penthouse of the condo being built right on my street corner.
Facing the lake, gym, swimming pool, ( restaurant which I think is a terrific idea) and other good stuff missing in rental apartments.
Would be nice to just take the elevator down and order a nice dinner while gazing at the lake.
As of now they are all sold out and still about 8 more levels to build so I could pop my clogs before it is finished anyway.
Nice to dreamdreamy-eyes-.gif

Oh well, I shall just get on my balcony today to do some cleaning up and get some potted plants out.

I find in the south that chrysanthemums are perennial and multiply. Also, some kinds bloom in spring then in late June I cut them back about a third, fertilize every couple weeks and they bloom again in fall. They will help fill a garden.

I have to go back out to my stepfather's because apparently his caption phone isn't working. I went out yesterday morning. He didn't call again last night, I I have to figure out what it is with the phone. I always have to.

Also a woman associated with PAWS Thrift and cat spaying is going to help me with getting the un neutered male at work trapped and fixed. I'm going to go pick up the trap at PAWS today. She wants me to try and trap him Saturday morning. Of course I work Saturday and I'm super busy and stressed at and before work. I have to ask her if I can't get him trapped Saturday, what other day could work. If I get him, she will come over and pick him up. I've only talked to her on the phone. She seems very nice and helpful.

Everything overwhelms me do to my lack of support.

Right now I am laughing my head off. My Hubby and I just got home from having breakfast out. While we were driving another driver asked us to pull over. I started to worry but hubby pulled over. The other driver came up to my side of the car and asked me if my name was Barbara. I was shocked and said "Yes," he said do you remember me I am Johnny Blake. He then said, "We used to dance together".Then it all came back to me. I would go to the dances every Friday Saturday and Sunday nights. I was shocked that he remembered me from all those years ago. What was more surprising was that this was the second time this happened while we were driving. A few years ago the same thing occurred. I think I finally learned my lesson. Do not dance while sitting down in the car.

i am waiting to have bloodwork done and later this morning I will go for another test to help isolate the cause for this intermittent dizziness that I have been experiencing. It is not regular vertigo and is more of a nuisance than anything else. I think they are going to put me on a machine and turn me upside down.
It is a great day for ducks in this area and will be raining heavily for most of the day. I am sitting here with wet pant legs after running in from the parking lot.
But LOL , I have had no coffee this morning and that is torture.

Had to look these up. For the equally uninformed, these lovelies are balloon flowers. (I've seen them before, but had no idea what they were called.)

They are beautiful, I have them also in a pink and a white. There is a new variety out that is a double but I found it not hardy, mine did not make it through the winter. So I will stick with the tried and true singles.
