I think I was a little bit too convoluted in my conversation: I meant to say that I refused radiation treatment, @Trish, since buying an extra year or so is not worth going to a clinic over and over, and living with all the unpleasant side effects! But thank you for caring!

In my case, @hawkdon, the cancer was discovered too late. I was bleeding badly and the surgeon scraped the tumor. Somehow that stopped the bleeding but the cancer was now too big to remove! Thanks for the best wishes, they mean a lot to me.
 
I'm starting a new game of Civilization VI. My last game finally finished after many weeks so I started a new one. I'm "only" 88 so have plenty of time to play games like chess at Chess.com and Civilization VI at Steam.com.

By the way, I've been married to the same woman for 63 years. She has cooked all my meals for all that time. We have 2 kids, 6 grandkids and 3 great grandkids. I still send them monetary gifts on their birthdays.

I am playing Diablo II Resurrected and Diablo III at the moment @Mitch86! Bought a game called Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim day before yesterday and spent most of the day trying to register.

I kept getting the message over and over: "this email address already exists." I must have used Steam sometime in the remote past, and why in darnation can't we use our "already existing" email? Even support couldn't give me a simple answer, so I finally told them, keep the game. The aggravation over twenty dollars isn't worth it!

Sigh. I'd been having a pity party when I noticed that my Up North brother called me this morning while I was at work. Called him back, had a pleasant conversation and feel better now. He's now a great-grandfather of two, and my niece (I remember the day she was born!) is a grandmother. What?

Pity party because I had to work alone today. Well...seems there were three people there yesterday, and they left stuff unfinished. What the what? Three and they couldn't get it all done? What is this? A case of "what's the least I can do and get away with it?" Sure sounds like it, and it ticks me off.

Not only worked alone, but worked until noon and still couldn't finish (but did more today than all three people did yesterday). It's tiresome to be the one who's depended on to get the job done, but I really like the job so there's that.

Tomorrow's another day. Scheduled until noon:mad:

A rare Sunday off but scheduled until noon Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday. The only day I'm scheduled off at 11 is next Saturday.

The plumbago and the daisy didn't get planted, but the lawn got mowed. It's shady now so everybody is getting a healthy drink of water. It's hot out there.
 
Went on a hike this morning (with the usual Friday morning hike club), then did some laundry, and called Fidelity to complain about the clutter on my profile (stock plans for companies I worked at long ago, I never bought any of their stock so I don't know why/how they appeared in my account, but suddenly after all these years I decided to call and complain (successfully)! ha ha).

Now I need to peel myself away from the computer and go water my garden plot, and afterwards I plan to stop at one of the clubhouses and work on one of the jigsaw puzzles before returning home.

I've been re-watching old TV Show episodes of the show 'Bones' and am struck by how similar a guy in a painting from hundreds of years ago (that I saw at an Art Museum - I took a picture of the painting tho I don't think I realized why it looked interesting to me) looks to one of the actors on the show:

Dear friend, I'm just seeing this today! I can't say I do not feel sorry that you got that diagnosis and that it has progressed further than what is easily treatable, but I will respect your request to not pity you or treat you differently. I will continue to enjoy our very interesting interactions about things that we both appreciate and even things we differ about. I don't know if you are a religious person but I will keep you in prayer. My husband got radiation treatments (and nothing else) for prostate cancer. He said the most discomfort was having to drink so much water then hold his bladder for so long while the treatments took place. It's good that you made your decisions about treatment based on what is best for you and your quality of life! I would do the same. Take good care.

My friend called a realtor to look at a mobile home on their site. Turns out the owner was renting it to someone and when he told him he was selling it and he would have to move the renter poured cement down the toilet and all the sinks. It is still listed. Not sure if the renter was arrested for that but seems like he should be.

OMG!!! But I believe it. That nice newer place I made an offer on and she countered me high (both my agent and my agent stated the listing agent said it's overpriced) gave me those kinds of worries. If she sells, she could be mad she didn't get what she wanted and do something. It was taken off the market and it just went back on the market a few days ago. Reduced, but still high and more than I offered.
 
~Finally finished putting away the laundry.
~Refilled Deja's dry food canisters and took stock of her wet food. It will be time to order soon. I'm going to have to change the number of weeks for the Chewy auto ship of her food from 6 to 4 weeks.
~Continued my semi binge of Blue Bloods
~Did some financial stuff
~Did my daily things: Talked with BFF on the phone, played Words With Friends, Cody Cross, took a nice nap (was feeling a bit tired today), loaded and ran the dishwasher.

Quality over quantity every time (y)

Do you have a bucket list? I do. So far, it consists of having a 1970's party, enjoying more time on the coast and maybe spending a night in a haunted house! Weird, I know but, I have always fancied doing that!

It's a miracle. Buffy is still alive! Was afraid to go to bed last night. She was not using her back legs yesterday. Thought her number was up. In the middle of the night, on her own, she must have left the couch 'cause the litter box is full of pee and I found a little poop on the floor. Yesterday, I brought her food & water; last night she got it herself. Her mood is good today. My grandson coming over later to play with her.

Just saw her jump up on couch. Yesterday she did nothing, didn't move off couch. I'm so grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Today I am recovering from a horrendous 4 day trauma with my computer which was infiltrated by a Trojan.

It all started with a link from a trusted person who probably did not realize the Trojan was there waiting for the right person.
I should have known better considering what the site was offering.

I won't go in to all the details except to say that it involved a transfer of almost $35,000.00 out of my banking
which of course I did not make and after hours on the phone listening to what I thought to be legitimate Apple and Bank people I finally hung up and went to my bank which I should have done in the first place.
I now have new credit debit cards and have to advise any companies involved so not completely over.

Now today I will just spend it with my favourite pass time

Today……nothing earth crashing.
Is a busy weekend around town…..yard and garage sales everywhere…..including my neighbour on my north side.
I’ve yet to figure out why everyone wants to sell their yards and garages…..😉🙃😊🥴😆.
I don’t go to yard or garage sales….or…..have them.

It has already heated up to 24c, not sure how much outside time there will be, the wind is starting up, might make it more bearable out there……don’t get me wrong……I’m NOT complaining about the heat…..I’ll just follow the shade and work there till it’s too hot.

Usual cleaning chores and sorting and packing.
