Today my son is picking me up and me, him & grandson are going to his rooftop pool where my grandson will push his grandma in the deep end. "Watch out" my son told me "he's coming for YOU!" Then we will have dinner with my DIL and a celebration of life. No AccessARide today.

Morning all....well a bad omen to start the day, no sooner
got this pc warmed up than the power went out!!! dang it,
but here I am, ready or not...it is 66deg F to start and going again into high 80's, light chance of rain, bad day for breathe
and aches and pains are high today.....LOL....dunno what I'll
get up to day yet....so take care all folks......;)

On my early walk around 6:15, was cloudy still a bit humid, temp was 65 as I went to buy today's NYT
This morning around 11:15, my friend Marcia is picking me up along with our church friend, Earl. She is taking us out to lunch, she's been trying schedule this for months. I'm looking forward to this
I have no other plans today,hope to get another walk in weather permitting{ on/off rain showers}

Had toddler grandson yesterday for the first time in a couple of weeks because DH & I were away. How we missed him, and wow has he added skills in only two weeks. It's easy to forget how quickly little ones change.

Today I need to do a little house straightening (maybe an hour's worth). Nothing too strenuous. Roomba will be running, too. Don't want to feel like I'm the only one working. DH will be busy with a pickup and delivery for work that'll take about three hours all told, so Roomba and I will start working after he leaves.

I also need to do a little research and place an Amazon (or Walmart or other place) order but if I don't get to it today I'll do it tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is another day...

Morning folks...starting the day a bit cooler at 68deg F, but will warm quickly...lawn guy did his thing yesterday, and it was very warm out there...grateful my friend got this computer back up for me....got to call credit card today and get it unfroze, I froze
it yesterday early when the computer crapped out...got that rash coming back again, so will call about that prednisone pill
and see if doc will refill it......
I'm getting ready to go fix Sausage Gravy, and biscuits, so better stir your butt and get over here, ya hear??!!! ;):D
Save some for me! I'll be right over🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

UPDATE: Extractor fan couldn't be installed. Too many water and gas pipes in the way of the only place it could have been installed.

Sheriff's court wrote back. I was asking for advice, didn't get any. I can't afford solicitors and the local legal aid office only deals with criminals...

Got good results from charity pick-up and daughter received her Avon delivery. My nerves are going off a little do my phone is turned off for the day, I need a ... break, right?

Finally, my current provider has taken on a full investigation into our Energy crisis. Phew! Can't breathe... Thanks for letting me blow steam off

Shitaki mushrooms the 💩 hit the fan once more today. I'm beginning to think that one or both companies I'm dealing with are lying but can't pinpoint which one yet...

However, after speaking to NHS 24/7 I'm happy to say that I will receive medical help to help me cope with the daily infusion caused by this Energy crisis I'd been stuck in for nearly 4 years plus the bereavement loss of both son and husband.

I got great help, I felt much better afterwards. Also, I was helped by my local GP surgery to send my application for registration with doctor via email.

Trying to find online a Canadian pharmaceutical product I once took for two years. It was a round flat pill with two medication. White side contained a muscle relaxant the other half was various colour depending on the pain killer added.

It was by prescription and was specifically for back spasms. I just plainly can't remember the brand name and as I'm in the UK, it's difficult to get better search. If any of you know, I'd be happy for the information.

Got upset again with energy crisis but wrote to the Sheriff's court. Waiting on calls and emails to show up.

Doing overall of two browsers into a new one. So, having fun going through my bookmarks, eliminating useless ones and adding important ones. My first saved password today was for this website. Seniors Unite! 😊

To go back a bit, last year California issued a $700/couple (probably $350/adult) middle class tax refund. Long story short, our debit card never arrived. (Why this came as a debit card instead of a check is beyond my understanding, but who is this lowly person to question the wisdom of almighty bureaucrats?)

It was supposed to be here in January. I called them up and said it never arrived and was told to wait until March. When I called in March they said that it had been cashed. Wait, what? No idea who cashed it but it wasn't us. So I told that to the clerk on the phone. She said she'd put through a dispute but didn't hold much hope. It would take 90 days to process.

So I called today and guess what? Dispute resolved in our favor. (Maybe others had their mail stolen that day... It had to have been swiped somewhere between Sacramento issuing it and my local post office delivering it, because my mail can't be stolen once delivered) In any event, that $700 is loaded on the replacement debit card they sent me just-in-case.

I'll be putting it in the bank today or tomorrow.

Uncomfortable 24 hrs here, hopefully relieved now...

Started having vertigo yesterday evening and got worse in the night (as in turn over in bed, the room spins/waves of nausea). This AM, went to volunteer at the library, same story... any time I leaned to the right, drunk-headed and nauseated. Left early, made appointment at the chiropractor and took a 3 hr nap til it was time to go.

Chiropractor assessed me, said my C-1 (top vertebrae) was mis-aligned. She adjusted me and it seems much better. But I'm still taking it slow.

I hate falling apart... =(

Actually, it's me, @CinnamonSugar with the vertigo issue, @hawkdon

I did discuss this method/treatment with my chiropractor today and she said it would only help if the crystals in the ear were the culprit. We did the adjustment of my C1 and that seemed to fix the problem but she's not adverse to doing this if needed.

Here's the first link on Wikipedia
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/NHS_111

In England, they're known as NHS 111. In Wales it's NHS 111 Wales.

Also, here's their website
https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/urgent-and-emergency-care-services/when-to-use-111/

In Scotland it's known as NHS 24. It's a service available from the website or on your phone dialing 111. It's when you don't have a regular GP to see, can't get an appointment as surgery too busy and there's no need for ambulance, therefore not dialling 999.

They have various departments that can help you with your immediate problem where the robot speech gives you the choice to say or tap number into phone. Then, depending on how busy they are, you might have to wait a while.

As with what I've been going through all on my own I needed help. After calling my local GP surgery, the nurse suggested that I dial 111 for NHS24.

Once I spoke to the rep, we had a lovely conversation where I was able to state how I felt and she immediately referred me to a local support service plus told me to call back my local office and told them that I'd spoken to say and so and was priority due to Pandemic delays in 2020, lockdowns and all, plus what I'd gone through recently. Thankfully, she gave me a reference number, much simpler.

Then the nurse at the surgery after hearing that number, asked me if I could scan the registration form I had and send it to their offices via email. I did that with daughter through nice HP Printer we have that do scans. Then uploaded other papers required in the same fashion.

I'm not ill often as my last GP card is dated 2012. Lol!

Hoping this help you @hollydolly and others who may not know about this useful service when things go wrong and you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Wednesday 28 June, I'm one busy lady. Between 9 to 5, British Heart Foundation is coming to pick up two items of furniture ready to go. Between 9 and 4, housing association installation service to put extractor fan in bathroom as when we take a shower, the resulting steam has nowhere to go, even with windows opened and creates dry rot all over the surfaces in there. Not great as we both suffer from allergic asthma.

Then between 12-1:30pm two more people to inspect house for asbestos, premove checkup which was never done lol!

Busy, busy as two wee bumblebees!
