What Do You Eat for Breakfast?

when I have a flare
Yes, I should have clarified that my flares can be months or even years long. I had trouble as a younger person which came up again when I entered my 50's.

But again, it's been a couple (few?) years now that I've been better and I'm hoping I won't have to deal with it again. ...I can hope. :)

I didn't strictly follow the Low FoodMaps, but changed by diet completely including some LFM foods, but not all, until I was feeling better. Then slowly reintroduced foods.

I'm sorry you have been having to deal with this. It's rough and I feel for you. ❤️

EDIT: typo

This morning it was two slices of whole wheat, one with avocado and one with sugar free jam. An orange, a Honeycrisp apple and a string cheese.

I had a fat free Greek yogurt as well, but haven't felt like eating it as yet.

Me too, @Pepper, love bagels! They are calorie and carb bombs, but so delicious! Sometimes I sub half a bagel for two slices of whole wheat. So worth it! ;) 1000_F_456913430_GBUjYyP5gsb4HQBh8lanJENjYgE0vPG0-3741047019.jpg

I've settled into a routine over the past few years. One morning I eat 2 eggs and a strip of turkey bacon., The next day its a waffle or 2 pancakes, and a strip of turkey bacon. On the 3rd day, its a bowl of raisin bran and a strip of turkey bacon. My wife usually gets up a 1/2 hour before me, so I do my own breakfast...keeps me familiar with the kitchen in case she gets ill.
You are a good man.(y)

Wheat toast with sugar free jam, wheat toast with Jalapeno Jack cheese, an orange, a fat free Greek yogurt and a hashbrown patty.

I probably should have skipped the hashbrown patty.

Oh, Hell with it, no I shouldn't have; it was delicious.

Quickie breakfast as I needed something before our one hour plus trip to the grocery store.
Egg made in my pancake maker, bread with tad of mayo, coffee, cream and sugar

Depends on the weather, but I always have organic fruit. I like warm stuff like cocoa, eggs and beans if it's cold outside because I have to go out in it.

breakfast can be anything..
i love left over fried catfish for breakfast, pizza on occasion. or leftovers from last nights dinner. I love having variety of things otherwise I get bored easy. Make up your stuff.
I will try, but I've always felt that for the first meal of the day, the blander the better. I may be wrong.

Coffee and winco all American sub sandwich. Bought also 20 lbs of "Critter Feed" and 4 lbs of nurs for the furry tree living rodents. Mixed it all, put out 2 lbs and watching them pig out.

Yesterday, it was pretty much the usuals, although I am getting tired of avocado toast. So, whole grain toast with sugar free jam, whole grain toast with light margarine, a fat free Greek Yogurt, and an Egg Beaters omelet with Goat Cheese.
