What do you enjoy about being a Forum member?

It's when it goes off topic in a negative, insulting or combative way, then it's a problem.
I find insulting and combative to a problem even if they're on topic. I can live with negative. There's just no real reason to insult people or be combative in my opinion. People have different experiences and different points of view, not much you can do about it and being rude doesn't really help move a subject forward.

One more thing. I love most of the people on this site. Great advice, great to hear how folks are doing, etc. You know? People even read my displaced wording of thread starts and they put up with it without correcting me. I am so glad to meet actual real people and hear about their incites/help on this forum. Down to Earth and forthright people. They make me grateful for being a part of this site.

Senior Forums is addictive and enjoyable, it's the ability to connect with like-minded people, and the quite often, in-depth discussions that's so compulsive. There's a sense of community and it's a great outlet for knowledge sharing.

I enjoy the social aspect from the comfort of home at almost any time of day. There are so many topics, and if something doesn't interest you, you just skip over it. It's the same with members. If someone gets under your skin, you can easily avoid them. If you are going through something troubling in your life, you can always find comfort and support here.

I appreciate the knowledge folks bring to the table… especially in the Photography dept…. -oy-‘s photos leave me in awe and feeling like I’ve been to the location.. so many of you are talented photographers and compositionists…. It spurs me on in my own photographic journey
