"The order also said he had to leave the country within 15 days."
Crap! Thanks Napal.
Crap! Thanks Napal.
The war on drugs is bank, baby! for certain peopleThe war on drugs is a joke.
Yep, after that release is ok...This is exactly why I'm for the death penalty in cases of murderers, and child molesters, especially serial ones!
Yeah, that's a release that gives people that warm, fuzzy feeling.Yep, after that release is ok...
and so it's supposed to be here too...The parole boards there must be different from ours. Isn't this really on them? IDK. When someone rapes that much it must be taken into account by the parole board that they present a danger to society.
yes I remember that well, beyond any kind of understanding..What!? That is sooo messed up!
Women or men with custody of their kids shouldn't even try dating anyone if they have a child under the age of 16. Too many sickos out there.
It's crazy. I found that out after the school shooting in Texas where the man killed 19 kids while the police stood right outside the door waiting for someone to tell them to go in.I felt like all of those cops should have been held accountable. Then they tried to arrest one mother who went in that school and got her two kids out herself. Crazy! Society is devolving, we're going backwards and people are getting dumber.
They have been taken out of service and charged with Neglect of Duty and a couple other things, and so were their senior officers. But their cases haven't gone to court yet. Should be interesting. It's crazy. Protect and Serve? How can they be charged with "Neglect of Duty " when they in-fact have no duty to protect ?
They weren't ordered to enter. The reason for the charge (and I could be wrong, but I think it's NofD) is that defenseless people were in clear and imminent danger. This is why their senior officer/officer in charge was charged as well. Witnesses said he ordered officers to "stand down."How can they be charged with "Neglect of Duty " when they in-fact have no duty to protect ?
I can see where they might be charged with insubordination, if they were ordered to go in and refused but .... were they ? And refusing to do so would be an on job issue ... not a criminal issue ......... jmo
I think the answer to this is not to bring back the death penalty but bring back, "life without parole."More people end dead from NOT having the death penalty. I would rather they kill one than let that one go free to kill 5 more innocent victims. I wish the death penalty didn't have to exist but I wish murderers didn't exist. Life in prison is not life in prison unfortunately.
yes I agree with everything you say...except the life without parole. Yes indeed have it still, but it costs a fortune for the Tax payer to keep these people in prison for the rest of their lives.I think the answer to this is not to bring back the death penalty but bring back, "life without parole."
We, as older people, should get together and tell the courts that just because we're old doesn't mean we can't kill and assault. I hear detectives on Dateline saying, "a woman couldn't do this," or "this man couldn't have done it because he's ill or walks with a cane." Well I'm, old, a woman, and walk with a cane, but I can still do whatever I want to when the desire is there.
Yesterday, I drove my dog to the vet, left my cane in the car and carried her into the office, fending off all the big dogs in the waiting room who wanted me to put her down so they could play with her. I'm sure I could put anti-freeze in my husband's Dr. Pepper, like all those other wives.![]()
everyone thinks it, but not many want to say it.If they start giving people the death penalty and actually executing them before they turn 80, they won't have to worry about them aging.
There has to be money in it for someone. I'm pretty sure prisons are given so many tax dollars per prisoner annually, but they spend like half of it on them and someone pockets the difference. If they start giving people the death penalty and actually executing them before they turn 80, they won't have to worry about them aging.
.....Like everything they do with our money......There has to be money in it for someone. I'm pretty sure prisons are given so many tax dollars per prisoner annually, but they spend like half of it on them and someone pockets the difference.
There is a cut-off point for appeals, the problem is, they allow too many types of appeals so it takes forever to get them all done. But I do agree with you, especially that last part.yes I agree with everything you say...except the life without parole. Yes indeed have it still, but it costs a fortunate for the Tax payer to keep these people in prison for the rest of their lives.
I am of the belief that appeals should be held much quicker than they are now.. so maybe within 2 years.. and there should be a maximum of 2.. and if they fail there should be no more..
I feel in the instances where there is no possible doubt that the accused committed the heinous crime.. there should be no path to appeals, and a Death sentence should be carried out immediately after sentencing as they do in other countries.
It's just a slogan ..... nothing more. There are other posts about it. Or try google .. it is not required.Protect and Serve?
That is the illusion we're expected to believe. One reason is to make uninformed people think of police officers as heroes. It works - for most.I thought they did. Isn't protection the idea of the concept of policing?
The purpose of charging them was to pacify an outraged public. It will be forgotten after some time & nothing will happen to the do-nothing officers. And the mindsets of the ignorant will return to "Police Officers Are Our Heroes."They have been taken out of service and charged with Neglect of Duty and a couple other things, and so were their senior officers. But their cases haven't gone to court yet. Should be interesting.
LOL - it won't work anymore. After several wives used antifreeze to murder their husbands, they added a chemical to it to make it taste bitter so it will be detected by the intended victim.I think the answer to this is not to bring back the death penalty but bring back, "life without parole."

LOL Thanks for the heads up, Win.LOL - it won't work anymore. After several wives used antifreeze to murder their husbands, they added a chemical to it to make it taste bitter so it will be detected by the intended victim.
"Honey, I made you some lime Jello."
"Thanks, dear. It's delicious."
"Of course. I'd do anything for you; you mean the world to me."
I don't think so. The department is angry, too. They want this huge misstep punished. It's reflecting very badly on their reputation. But even then, and I agree with you on this point, it'll be a very long time and a tough job to get to the "Police Officers Are Our Heroes" level in their city. The purpose of charging them was to pacify an outraged public. It will be forgotten after some time & nothing will happen to the do-nothing officers. And the mindsets of the ignorant will return to "Police Officers Are Our Heroes."
Well, except for the parents of the victims...............
The problem is that police are protected by Federal Law & immune from any prosecution for doing nothing to protect anyone.I don't think so. The department is angry, too.
