What exercise have you done today?

Did a batch of walking again, Best I am able to do with the walker. But I try to go for distance, and some speed..without overdoing.
I like at Christmas time, when weather outside may not be good..I hit each of the 6 floor of my building and
see how everyone has decorated their apartment doors

Sorry I pressed the wrong "smile" this is what I wanted to say 🤗

Regular training day w my off and on training partner. She is about 75 yo and very famous and red hot in the educational community in the US. We talked a bit in the first 10 mins of the hour so my HR dropped a bit.

1/2 hour warm up, and on to the main event - functional strength training.

Mad dash trying to get more leaves raked, mulched, and bagged for Thursday pickup. Where thinner on the ground, running the mower over them with the deck set low and a mulching blade fitted. Trying to get ahead of the snow. While not finished dropping yet, probably 2/3 of the leaves have already fallen to the ground.

Sadly I only got maybe 60% of the current crop cleared. The snow has begun here now.

This morning: 1 hr. Vinyasa Yoga. We primarily do several rounds of Sun Salutation, Warrior stances & transitions, balance practice etc.
This afternoon: an hour or so of treadmill at home.

I like that, I'm going to make a point to get to the gym early and do some favorite asanas that we aren't doing in class.
If you like yoga, check out Namaste Yoga by Kate Potter. Each yoga series is 25 - 28 minutes. There’s 3 seasons worth with 6 to 7 different series. It’s my favourite yoga. The filming done is superbly photoshopped but in a classy tasteful way and the instruction is dubbed in afterwards so as not to distract.
Yoga is so great for bad backs and sore joints.

I love the warrior series 💕

@PeppermintPatty , thanks, I'll take a look! A favorite TV Yoga program I used to follow at O dark thirty in the AM is Power Yoga by Adrienne Reed. Here is a Youtube channel that features Adrienne's Power Yoga programs: @jasonarobertson/videos

@Nathan -
I have a book on Power Yoga, by Beryl Bender Birch, 286 pages, 1995.
This is a good reminder. I found the book and am going to take a look through it.
I am not that flexible though, especially not in my feet, but can easily sit in a full squat position.
A lot of people can slide their butts close to their ankles on the rowing machine, but I'm not able to do that.

Thanks. I’ll heck it out.
These each start with a 5 to 6 minute warm up, a 12 to 15 continual flow of movements then a 5 to 6 minute cool down.

And while I love how my body feel afterwards, my favourite part is that it relaxes my mind tenfold. All my dogs have loved when I do yoga. I think they look at it a 1/2 play; 1/2 nap time. My first shepherd would take a nap every time. Then again she’s a dog. They ALL do 😂

That sounds like a perfect yoga session. After our Yoga session my body feels great, I tell people that it feels like a massage from the inside out. At the end we assume the Savasana pose(corpse pose), and our teacher guides us through a mindful 'tour' of the body. I'm so relaxed at the end I can barely peel myself off the mat.
My dogs are good at doing Downward Dog and Upward Dog.

I was outside today for two hours, standing and walking back and forth giving candies to the trick-or-treaters who stopped by. I also had to set up the table and chair and lighting for the event, so that took time. Then I had to bring everything in afterward. So I would say a total of three hours.
