What exercise have you done today?

I got some brief intense indoor exercise done but I'll try to get out for a decent walk if the snow doesn't make the sidewalks too slick. Maybe later do my workout with my homemade shinai stick/staff.

I lifted my cereal spoon to my mouth! :p

But I have some shopping to do and then when I get home I will do some Bone Builder exercises, although I should have done them earlier.

I sort of overslept this AM. There was very little snow on my car but a few 4-5 inch drifts in my driveway, and it is all melting very fast>.

I felt pretty good this morning so I went a little heavier on my dead lift workout.

60 KG X 4
72.5 KG X 3
85 KG X 2
97.5 KG X 1

Might have been a mistake. I felt a little twinge in my lower back on one of the lifts. :(I hope it's nothing. So far it doesn't feel any worse than usual for a 76 year old man with spinal stenosis. But the real test will come when I get out of bed tomorrow morning.

I think I will probably stop reading this thread. It makes my efforts seem pathetic. Maybe I will catch up but never on skis again.
Whaaaaat? You do great! Nothing is as puny as my 10 minute work-outs and if you actually saw me (squats so shallow my knees barely bend) you'd have a whole new definition of pathetic.

My grandfather used to take ten deep breaths every morning and called himself a health nut.

I knew a woman who said she started touching her toes ten times each morning and lost 30 pounds because of it. It's my guess that she felt so proud of herself over the toe touches it caused her to be more mindful about what she ate.

I don't have a point here other than I think even the smallest effort is a good thing.

I spent a month out of the gym because my darn leg is hurting me for some reason. I think it's a repetitive stress injury. I have given up and decided to get back to it but mix things up more. After a month, it still bugs me a little. I'll just go to PT as my last resort. Or switch to swimming for a month. So I am probably doing much less than you.

I walked 3 miles.

You are so spot on Della!

10 minute workout. I was afraid I was going to have to give up my Nitric Oxide Release work-out because my back was starting to hurt afterward, but just lowering my arms a little made it stop. I'm so glad, because I always feel better after doing it.

Looks like I didn't injure my back too bad yesterday. All I'm having is my usual backache this morning. :)

Exercise bike 5.0 miles in 23 minutes 41 seconds.
