I went for a 20-minute walk. I'm trying to take it easy after 'way overdoing it last week on my bicycle. I biked for half an hour and then had to turn around. My legs wouldn't even support me! I walked the darn bike back home. All told, I was gone over an hour.

I looked up a newbie-bicycling program online that recommended, for out-of-shape people such as myself, to start out with 10-minute rides 2×/week and gradually build up. I guess I thought I was 14 again when I got on my bike! :ROFLMAO:

My plantar fasciitis is better now, so I was able to walk. It's nice just to get outside and away from my desk.

Next week I'll try the bike again.

2,000 calories again yesterday. Weight is still at 200 lbs. So no change after 3 days of "dieting". I had been averaging btween 2300 and 2400 calories a day before.

Deadlifts at 5 minute intervals.

60 KG X 4
70 KG X 3
80 KG X 2
90 KG X 1
90 KG X 1
90 KG X 1
90 KG X 1
90 KG X 1
90 KG X 1

These felt heavy this morning. Maybe because I've been eating less? So I cut back a little on the number of lifts with 90Kg.

2,000 calaories yesterday. Weight still stuck at 200 lbs. I was able to lose at 2,000 calories a day 4-5 years ago. Back when I was young I could lose on 2,500. But I'm less active now in my old age. Aside from the exercise that I post here, I am basicly a couch potato.

Spin Bike = 20 minutes.

2,000 calories again yesterday. Weight still stuck at 200 lbs. I weigh myself every morning and I've been stuck at 200 for a long time. Maybe I'ce work a groove into my scale at 200?

Bench Presses at 4 minute intervals:

20 KG X 9
35 KG X 7
50 KG X 5
65 KG X 3
65 KG X 3
65 KG X 3

Arrrgggh; I tried to start up again with my bicycle, and I got a flat literally within a minute! So now I have to take it to the repair place. Luckily, I bought a 3-year warranty (I usually skip warranties).

I'm starting to think this biking thing is not meant to happen for me. 😁

Luckily the weather is very pleasant, so I got a 20-minute walk in.

If I may ask ? ........ Why do you do your routine they way you do it ? Only a few reps, and quite-a-bit of rest in between ?

I'm not judging , not sticking my nose in , anything like that. Maybe you know something I do not ? Maybe I'll learn something ?

I do it that way because I find it easier and I look forward to my workouts. Maybe higher reps with less rest would be better but then I would dred my workouts and be more likely to quit.

2,100 calories yesterday. I miscalculated and went over my 2,000 limit.

Oh well, weight was the same 200 lbs this morning.

I'm still walking 3 miles every morning, most of these with a neighbor. He hadn't done
any running since high school, except for us occasionally running to cross a busier street,
but recently started running 12x100m with me which we've continued doing for the last 5 Saturdays.

We also added some running last Tuesday through the neighborhood, but his knees started hurting
since he's not used to running much yet. We're going to add some running to our walking again this Tuesday.
We did our usual 3 mile route last Tuesday, walking the first time, running 1' at a time with 2' walks for
the second mile, and 1' reps with 1' walks for the third mile, getting his fastest time for the 3 miles overall.
He's taken quite well to the running, running just ahead of me on each run, and his knees were fine this time.

He loaned his tree trimmer to me the same day and I followed up with 90 minutes trimming right after,
then did the same 60 to 70 minutes the following two days, and the weather has been hot. However we have
continued walking the 3 miles each morning. He misses a day here and there, and I keep walking the same route.
