What exercise have you done today?

200 lbs even this morning. Walked 2 miles on the nature trail. According to his link it's 2.1 miles, but I count it as an even 2.

I think 200lbs is a good weight for a grown man and it appears to be your set weight. My husband and son would be thrilled to get down to that.

My son just walked by and said, "That's Johnny Fever from WKRP in Cincinnati." I thought it was really you!

I really need to lose at least 5 lbs and hopefully 10. I have 2 pairs of jeans. I mean how many does one need? One to wear and one to wash, right? But I digress. Even though both sets are the same brand, style and size, one is slightly tighter than the other. Considering they are most likely made by 10 year olds working 14 hour shifts in some third world, tenth rate, sweatshop I think the kids are doing a pretty good job keeping the measurements as close as they do. But I hate tight clothes.

Yes that is Johnny Fever from WKRP. But I would like to think that pose he is striking reflects my own personality.

Tuesday 1/28/25 - 201 lbs. 4 miles on the nature trail. 2 in the morning and 2 more in the afternoon.
Today 1/29/25 - 201 lbs again. Made up for that extra walking yesterday by eating more. :(
2 miles on the nature trail, then Dead lifts.

201 again. Walked the 2 mile nature trail. This time I estimated the steps by counting how many I took in a minute on 4 separate occasions and then averaging them. It came to an average of 87 steps a minute and the walk took 58 minutes, so it's about 5,000 steps.

202 lbs this morning. Gotta get this weight thing under control. Maybe I'll try Atkins low carb again. I've had success with it in the past but lately when I try it I haven't been able to get that past that low energy sluggish carb craving feeling that gets so bad in the beginning.

Walked 2 miles on the nature trail. That give me a total of 55 miles for the month of January.

I had been slowly increasing the weight on my bench presses but by the time I got to doing sets of 4 with about 100 lbs. my shoulder started to hurt again. So today I went back to square one and just used the 40 lbs bar and did 10 sets of 10. Not much of a workout, but there was no shoulder pain so I'll stick with that for a while.

I was sick for a couple of days so missed out, but I got back today to my still-short-but-working-my-way-up YouTube workout. Tomorrow it's back to combining that with the treadmill. I'm wildly impatient to get back outside, though. I don't care for treadmills.

2 miles on the nature trail this morning, then deadlifts. Then back to the nature trail for another 1.25 mile walk. Now all I want to do is eat and lay around like a vegetable.
