What exercise have you done today?

I keep thinking I should take a day off from toning, but I just don't want to. It's part of my routine and sets me up for the rest of the day. I mean, I'm alternating upper and lower body toning, so it should be fine.

The dog walks (or treadmill) continue. Yeesh, it's getting cold.

I vote that you keep the momentum going. I absolutely love ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️ my time at the gym.

Apparently I cannot live there.

I'm doing strength building now so I really have to take rest days 😴 💤 🛏

We don't typically use those muscles in average adult life. I have strong muscles elsewhere but those pull-up muscles are currently asleep.
I found out last summer playing with the grandkids at the park that I could not do pull-ups. I have been working towards doing them so I could keep up with the kids on the monkey bars. This summer is am able to do 2 but cannot carry my weight across the monkey bars 😲, my shoulders cant take it 😫

Bench Presses at 3 min intervals

I'm doing these every third day now. Next time I'll go to 60 KG X 2 on the last set.

20 Kg X 10
30 Kg X 8
40 Kg X 6
50 Kg X 4
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3
55 Kg X 3

2 mile walk.

I never fail to be impressed by this thread! You guys have some serious discipline.

I am stuck indoors for at least the next 5 months because of the brutal winters, so no outdoor activity for me for awhile. Not even skiing, sadly; the temperatures get so brutally low even outdoor activities are not feasible many days.

I bought a 12-pack of one-time passes to a local facility with an indoor walking track so I don't completely derail my fitness efforts. I also found a short, super-easy and fun 15-minute walking workout by Leslie Sansone. I love it so much, I wanted to share it here, but the YouTube video is restricted, so I'll supply the name, and if anyone wants to do an online search I'm sure they can easily find it. 1.0 Mile Happy Walk with Leslie Sansone.

I'm sure it's much too easy for the people who regularly post here, but it's great for people—such as myself—who are still in the early stages of getting fit. (Given that I started last February, I should be further along by now . . . ). I mix it up with another short workout by Joe Wicks.

I'll look this one up for days when I don't get all the dog walks in. Thank you. :)
