It was 34F (1C) this morning. I did the 2.1 mile trail nwalk in 52m and 46s, 43 second faster than yesterday for an average pace of 2.39 mph. Tomorrow I'm going to try to make a point of slowing it down. Don't want to fall into that trap of trying to do better every time. I've done that in the past and it never ends well. Usually with an injury.
2 walks a day for two days in a row and my feel are really howling. I probably should give them a soaking in a pan of hot water and Epsom salt like my mother used to do when her feet hurt but I'm too lazy to bother with it.
A 1-mile walking workout (indoors). I did a vigorous 2-mile workout on Monday that wore me out, so I took it a bit easier today. I'll go back to the 2-mile workout tomorrow.
45-minute (brisk) walk on the indoor track. I'm not sure what that works out to in terms of distance. Nine laps equal 1 mile, but I don't keep track. No pun intended, ha ha.
