What have you bought recently?

When unintentional sharp words cause distress, when a favourite meal has been lovingly served, when a new pair of trousers come straight off her sewing machine............................by the lady some flowers. The smiles are endless and genuine. My lady loves fresh flowers:

Are you allergic to latex?
Don't think so, just breakout with a nasty rash anytime I try to use a band aid or the white medical tape, any type of tape. Had to resort to what I used to buy at the hardware store - elastic wrap that is used mainly on horse's legs. I get it from Amazon as medical wrap. They normally use it after a blood draw - colorful. Never noticed a rash with latex, really can't say because I don't think I've ever used latex.

DD and I were going to cruise Goodwill. On the way there, we stopped at the garden center. After we left the garden center, we went to the other garden center. I am $73 poorer than when we left home.

There weren't any dianthus yet, but there were snapdragons and wallflowers and stock and creeping phlox. The snapdragons have been planted, but the others have to wait until tomorrow because I'm tired.

It's 2 1/2 weeks until Rocking Chair Money day. I need to put the brakes on the spending. But but but...there will be dianthus available before that! I'm "borrowing" flower money that I'd set aside.

We didn't get to Goodwill. Jussayin

We went to Dillards and bought a couple of light weight jackets for Spring for my husband. He really only needed one but the price of the jackets on sale were too good to pass up.

I also recently ordered a new tall cat scatcher for my kitty, shoestrings for boots, microplane zester grater, and oatmeal.

I went and browsed new car dealer stock yesterday. Didn't buy anything, just drove a couple vehicles. Just as well though, both dealerships were packed with people and the sales staff was pretty busy.

Bought some kitchen utensils needing replacement. Found some low-carb snacks on sale (ok, 4 lbs of carrots :ROFLMAO:). Fresh road-side eggs were $3/dozen, but I already have eggs. Got a lb of farm-churned butter though.

Most of the big stores here have pallets of stuff sitting all over the floor to get impulse buying. 2 can't get past with carts, you have
to move the pallets to get to what you want to find. I don't go to them much, usually Amazing Prime has and delivers free anyway.
Get 8-2x4x12' and you can't get past all the pallets all over the place to get to the Self Cash register checkouts.

I go to the Lumber yard that has its lumber stored outside the building. They actually have good straight wood too, not wet wood treated crap.

Farm churned butter...I like the sound of that!
