also coffee, mayo, c. roma tomatoes and a Superman action figure :)

The problem with my new Kia is that the Boot ( trunk) Space is very small compared to my Ford which was really big.....actually compared to any car the boot in this Kia is tiny.... just enough room to get a couple of grocery bags in, and nothing much more unless I flatten down the back seats..... so I bought some strong seat hooks..which I've used before... to hang on the back of the driver and passenger seats, which means I can hang grocery bags on there.. and keep them off the floor..

Wow! I never knew these existed!!!

Good to know. The link you posted just brings me to a generic car seat hooks page, like a search page. It might be that what you bought isn't available from Amazon in the US. I'll see if I can hunt down metal ones. They really are a great idea.

yes that's beccause I had to find a link to a .com site rather than a UK site.... actually it transpires mine are not metal but Carbon fibre..apparently that makes them super strong, and non combustible..

Ah... just looked it up. Carbon fiber is plastic. I didn't know that until just now. o_O

On the other hand, they're so inexpensive that I'll roll the dice. If they break, they break.

My genius brother (really he IS. He took after our father) Has been here all week fixing things that that were out of my realm of expertise.

2. Those lug nuts that kept coming loose on my 2003 Saturn finally got looked at by a pro — my brother. I tried to tell the tire shop this was not the first time they came loose and needed re-tightened. The tire shop manager glossed right over what I said and knowingly informed me if they came loose again I would have to bring the car back in so they could look at it - gee ya THINK!?

2.1. Well, my brother looked at them. Those Lugnuts overtime were worn/warped/out of round, whatever you want to call it. He took one and went to O’Reilly’s. They were three short of having enough for all four tires, but that’s OK because it was the front ones that were always coming loose so that’s fixed thanks to my brother. That was one trip to town in the other direction.

.

😂😂
If you were living on the west coast, I would almost swear you probably were dealing with Les Schwab. Those bandits won't do squat unless they make a sale on you. And frankly I would never trust them to work on a vehicle, after one incident where they didn't think the front hub needed to be replacing. Even though it was sitting about 10° off
