What have you bought recently?

If you were living on the west coast, I would almost swear you probably were dealing with Les Schwab. Those bandits won't do squat unless they make a sale on you. And frankly I would never trust them to work on a vehicle, after one incident where they didn't think the front hub needed to be replacing. Even though it was sitting about 10° off
Tire & Muffler USA. I Googled them after your comment🤠. They are not franchised, but privately owned.

Gateway tire is a franchise and right up the street. Tire & Muffler has helped me out a few times and I bought my front tires there a month or so back.

I was doubly disappointed with the store manager, because the store manager is a woman. I gave her a lot more credit than just glossing over what I said, but that’s OK. I’m sure I’ll have to go back in there again and even if it’s a couple years from now, I will remember and I will get in her face about it. The cigarette she constantly has dangling out of her mouth has probably fogged her brain up.🫥<——-brain fog😂😂

today I paid for Gel nails at the salon.... so they stay nice for a few weeks until my hand gets properly better, and then I can have regular manicures.........

Finally!! 70% chocolate bars, 3 of them!!! :)
that is an irony because I've just literally read an email from the supermarket who are delivering my order in the morning.. and they have replaced the Dark chocolate that I ordered with Belgian salted caramel chocolate *ugh*.. that wwill be going back with the driver to be taken off my bill...

I'm more annoyed about it because I ordered that Dark chocolate as a gift to myself for doing so well in my recovery.. and it was pretty expensive... how irritating that they don't have it in stock.. but didn't say at checkout...

Two new dress shirts. I haven't purchased any new suits, sport coats or dress shirts in almost 6 years since I retired. I'm giving away most because they no longer fit, but there are still occasions where I need to dress up. In my former career, everyone dressed to the Nines.

It was like a trip down memory lane. I used to go to the same salesman at Nordstrom and buy a suit or sport coat with a couple of matching shirts/ties. He knew what I wanted before I did. I actually stopped in after I retired and told him I would no longer be working with him, and I thanked him for his great attention. Today I went back to Nordstrom and he is still there. He recognized and welcomed me. I bought two dress shirts and made sure he got the credit. Hey, it was something. 🤷‍♂️

Five rolls of Necco's for $1.25 each from a Dollar Tree store.

All chocolate or multi flvors. I LOVE Necco’s😍

So far THIS WEEK:

1. paid for a complete carburetor rebuild on both four wheelers with OEM parts.

2. Switched to another pest control company. After 22 years, the other one wasn’t doing their job because they got sold to a company up in Nashville that really doesn’t want to do the work, just collect the money. So I let them go. Letting them go meant paying a startup fee to the new company, but I think they’re going to be better all the way around anyway.

Yesssssss———- I had a lot of fun spending all that money this week —- not,🤯💸🤯💸

I have used spray adhesives and Silicone on Roofs that got hit by a branch from a tree, they break and big end basically
falls 1st to ground cause it heaviest and thas how gravity works a lot of the time. That heavy end can do lots of damage
but Doll thas how you fall too!

Your months from moving a ladder, hauling a Step ladder. Just call a handyman and tell him urgent and you're hurting.
Your insurance company will send one to you now, not next monday.
There are company's that spray roofs . ... :coffee: ...

Oh bless you... Unless I can find somebody affordable.... who can do it...I'm going to have to..

As someone who now has vertigo and a lot of dizzy spells From three concussions, PLEASE be mindful of that for yourself.

You may have no idea of how wobbly you might be until you try to climb something more than a stepstool and find out you can’t. Believe me, that is a sinking feeling to know you can’t do your own stuff, but it’s not worth losing your balance and falling off the ladder, as I trust when you use the term “barn roof” you need more than a two-step stepstool😇😇

BTW, the bee stings lasted ~3-1\2 days relieving the arthritis in my hand. If I thought I could direct them to the spot in my lower back, I might go stand at the other pipe gate and hammer away😂😂. Turns out this is a very old remedy in parts of the southeast United States. The project manager of my new pest control company said his grandfather had rheumatoid arthritis and raised honeybees. When the pain in his hands got so bad, he would go get a couple of honeybees and let them sting him in the hand to relieve the pain for a few days.😳😳
