So many "cool " sounds, but like Lara the coolest was when during my first ultrasound for our first baby, the sound of his beating heart was the most beautiful thing I ever heard.

I like hearing crows when they are migrating. Every year, they landed in the trees by my house in the country - at least a couple of hundred of them. I couldn't hear myself think, it was so loud. I'd go up to my room and watch them with binoculars. I also like the sound of cows mooing.

I have always loved the laughter of children playing.

The ultrasound "heartbeat" at 8 weeks gestation of my triplets was pretty shocking. A heart has not formed yet -- it is kind of like some kind of electrical pulse. Nonetheless, to see and hear three pulses at once is quite an experience.

The phrase that goes something like "God laughs, while we are busy making other plans" came to mind.
