What is the definition of a woman?

And of course, there was a time when a young lady would to drop her handkerchief for a young man to pick it up and return it to her.
In 99.999999 recuring of the time, a young beau would be only too happy to fetch a young lady's hanky and present it to the demure young girl, but, there was the odd occasion that a young fella would not pick up the pretty femme's hanky, because she had already blown her nose in it. 😊

During the Victorian era young women of the aristocracy and even the middle class, all of them more or less tightly laced into their corsets, could faint at a ball dance to fall into the arms of the beloved nearby gentleman. But what if the klutz didn't catch the lady? :ROFLMAO:

Since corsets are not in use anymore, at least for most of the women, the young 'belles' must look for new tricks to catch a man.

Some decades ago at a neighbor village was a girl who had fallen in love with a firefighter. She had a plan. She would call the local fire department and then go into a pond. She thought that her beloved firefighter would rescue her. But there were some problems. #1: The pond was only two feet deep but very muddy since it was a pond for the breeding of carps. #2: And much worse, she referred to the wrong pond. So she was waiting in the water and noboby came to rescue her. In the end she got out of the pond by herself. #3: The firefighter didn't love her.

Later she married another man and they lived happily ever after. At least I hope so.

I am so confused. Can we all switch to Persian as a universal language? Persian is grammatically gender-neutral. It does not distinguish between masculine, feminine or neuter genders. (Apparently, I don't speak it, but so I've heard).

Woman = Homo Sapiens Adult Female? Am I missing something???

I keep coming back to this image. Something about it disturbs me.

I think it is that it reminds me of the way a cat looks at you when your stroke it behind the ear. I see this woman is a pet, the darling of the man in the photo. She is very young and quite lovely but the man? How old is he?

I cannot but think he is very likely a sugar daddy.

I admonish myself for thinking this way, but the thought persists.

At the risk of being slapped until I was red raw, I'm going to be brave and say this.
It's all the women's fault all this kissing and snogging, well just listen to the song..... 😊

Pfft. Adult female human.

All these other "definitions" are dreamed up by people who would rather it be otherwise, who say that one can "think" oneself to be one way or another (that they are not) and have it actually be that way, and in some places one would be penalized for saying the truth. I hope this nonsense does not last too long.

Leaving town, you say? 🚗💨

In the heart of Glen Carbon, where the Mississippi River weaves its tales,

You pack your bags, dreams in tow, seeking love’s elusive trails.

The road ahead, a winding path, through valleys deep and skies so wide,

In search of a girl, a beacon true, to walk with you side by side.

Will she be found in bustling towns, where neon lights ignite the night?

Or perhaps in quiet meadows, where fireflies dance in soft moonlight?

Her laughter, like a gentle breeze, whispers secrets to the stars,

Her eyes, twin pools of mystery, hold the map to where you are.

Through sun-kissed days and moon-kissed nights, you’ll seek her face in every crowd,

In cafés, parks, and hidden nooks, where destiny weaves its shroud.

And when you find her, true and rare, a love that blooms like springtime flowers,

Hold her close, cherish each moment, as if time were measured in hours.

For love, my friend, is not a quest, but a journey shared, hearts entwined,

And sometimes, the girl who’s true to you is the one you’ve left behind.

So, go forth, traveler, with hope in your eyes, and may love’s compass guide your way. 🌟❤️

IDK Warri. That's a muscular looking male forearm caressing her chin. My guess is he's a contemporary or thereabouts. You should get out more.

So Rishi Sunak made some comment and it has raised merry hell from Keir Starmer.
There is barely a day goes by now without someone being offended.

I do wonder what IS the definition of a woman and indeed of a man?
It's gotten so mixed up these days.

I know I am one physically and I've never had the slightest doubt mentally.

The biological sex is determined in the womb. Male or female. The most obvious characteristic is our *******s, but clearly it goes deeper than that (such as ovaries etc.). Behavior - whether one acts as a woman is expected to act socially, is debatable. What cannot be changed is our biology.

A woman is someone born with XX chromosomes, or XY. This determines male or female. There is a tiny % of people who are born with ambiguous *******s. This number doesn't really relate to the current question of Trans.

In our history, women have had to fight for their privileges and basic human rights. This is above and beyond what males of our species has had to do. We should continue to respect this, and honor that challenge. Trans people seem to want to hijack these wins and claim them for their own, which is both disrespectful and confusing. IMO. YMMV.
