What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

We missed Sound of Freedom when it was at the theatre here. It’s not on youtube in Canada yet. I’ll watch it if does show up.

Just finished the final season of Jack Ryan on Prime.

Have a nice day on Netflix. I thought it was pretty good. It's about a retired disk jockey who gets a job bagging groceries to have some money to attend a special party and be reunited with the love of his life.

Love & Gelato - after losing her mother, a teenager goes to Rome as a last request
There she finds herself attracted to two young men. I’ll leave it at that in case you decide to watch it. Be forewarned: it’s full out chick flick. I enjoyed it completely and learned what gelato is.

Do Revenge
IMG_0682.jpeg

A dethroned queen bee at a posh private high school strikes a secret deal with an unassuming new student to exact revenge on each other.

A fun movie with a real twisted plot.
Definitely chick flick.

The Matchmaker on Netflix. To me the movie didn't amount to much or make a lot of sense. Unless I missed something I would say this movie is not worth watching.

House of Gucci
When Patrizia Reggiani, an outsider from humble beginnings, marries into the Gucci family, her unbridled ambition begins to unravel the family legacy and triggers a reckless spiral of betrayal, decadence, revenge -- and ultimately murder.

This movie has a lot of stars in it including Lady Gaga and she did a great performance in this. Surprisingly this was a true story which I didn’t discover until the very end. It might not be a movie for everyone’s tastes but I enjoyed it

No apology necessary.
I was just curious as to why what I posted was a spoiler. ;)
It’s totally wasn’t. I was wrong and being a goof. While it was a sad movie, the acting was really good, especially Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’s so often cast in aggressive action movies with testosterone flying everywhere, that it was refreshing watching him in a more subdued movie.
It was such a moving film.

Last night I watched "Hunger", a Thai movie about a young woman who goes to work for a famous chef (think Gordon Ramsey, but even meaner). He's awful, she tries very hard, she gets her own restaurant, she decides it's not worth it and goes back to her father's noodle place. Yada, yada, yada. Moral of the story: the rich are awful, the poor are noble, food is love. Jujube the Critic gives it one thumb down, the other thumb digging in the potato chip bag for crumbs.

I believe in Santa on Netflix. I loved this movie. It's much more than just a Christmas movie. It has a lot of deep truths to it. And it's also a love story 💖
