What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

We watched a British 1982 mini-series, "Barchester Chronicles"

The Barchester Chronicles, a BBC miniseries, is adapted from two mid-19th century novels by Anthony Trollope. When a crusade against the Church of England's practice of self-enrichment misfires, scandal taints the cozy community of Barchester when their local church becomes the object of a scathing report about the use of church funds. Consequently, an honorable middle-aged clergyman (Donald Pleasence) is forced into moral crisis and a conflict with his son-in-law, a pompous archdeacon (Nigel Hawthorne) and his youngest daughter's beloved (David Gwillim). The arrival of a new bishop (Clive Swift), his domineering wife (Geraldine McEwan), and a devious chaplain (Alan Rickman) - who may be hiding secrets - add to the dramatic scheming and complex power struggles among a colorful cast of characters.
I watched that on YouTube a few years ago. It was so good!
Documentary on tubi about Vivian Cash, Johnny Cash and their family......I enjoyed it
I just watched that, too, Jackie. Very interesting. I'll never feel quite the same way about June Carter or Johnny Cash again.

Went to the Regal Cinema at the mall and watched the movie ELEMENTAL which is an animated Pixar movie. Very thought-provoking and yet fun. The idea is that the four elements: air, water, earth, and fire are represented by living organisms and they live together in a city. You can imagine the consequences when they meet.
The protagonist is female, and from the fire tribe and she has powers to burn things as well as make glass out of sand; she bumps into the water guy whose talent is to literally disappear in water, and he cries at every opportunity; their relationship sets off after they try and solve a problem. Spoiler alert for those who don't like Happy Endings! This was a tear jerker and ended happily. Anyway, I was mesmerized.

I See You on Netflix. A thriller that is a little twisted. The teenage son is angry with problems leading to accusations.

The movie 65 on Netflix is a kick, if you’re into science fiction and might enjoy seeing an alien pilot with high technology stranded on the Earth of 65 million years ago shoot marauding dinosaurs with a laser rifle in a desperate attempt for survival before that legendary asteroid impact of 65 million years ago. It’s kinda like a blend of Jurassic Park, Alien, and Star Trek, and was a lotta fun for someone of my tastes… 🦖🙀

Huzz liked this move better than I did; to me, it was just running around firing at dinosaurs, yawn.

Who Were We Running from? on Netflix. It is a 7 episode series. About a mother and daughter who become very close. The mother strives to protect the daughter from dangerous people. I thought it was good.

At the moment I’m not watching a movie but watching the series “Virgin River,” and love it.
The setting it’s filmed at is gorgeous and the townspeople so interesting. It’s certainly chick flick material. Romantic with plenty of drama. Lol

It was the drama that got me, PP! I lasted for five episodes! I flee from drama! Gimme light and escapist any day! :)
