What Was the Last Movie You Watched?

For some reason, I started watching Sandra Bullock movies these past few days while visiting family in Florida -
Miss Congeniality
The Net
While You were Sleeping

After watching Miss Congeneality, and Bullock's no-nonsense, frank personality, I decided that I like Bullock's movies. THE NET came next and had me on the edge of my seat as Bullock's identity was changed online (by the "bad guys) and she lost everything (name, house, loved one) because of the floppy disk in her possession (it's around the 1990s - the time when computers were large and they still used floppy disks). I might revisit this movie because it was action packed. I also loved Jeremy Northam in this movie as a potential love interest (although it didn't work out because he was so evil - almost a cardboard character villain).

Didn't finish the last movie While You Were Sleeping because I had to leave, but plan to pick up watching it when I get back home.

I watched a low budget movie that turned quite surprising. It is very well written and acted, PLUS it was filmed entirely in Colombia, Mo. I lived in Columbia for 20 years. I recognized most all of the scenes! It was fun watching a movie where actors are running around the places I have been. Like they go to Shakespeare's Pizza which we visited about every week. It was mainly filmed on the University of Missouri's campus. It is a good plot too...

Like most college kids, Drew’s life is chaotic. Demanding classes. Football. Finals. A bad break-up. An overbearing mother. But what helps keep him balanced is his Adderall, a prescription he's been on since age 10 for ADD. But now he finds himself suspended from the football team for plagiarism. As his life starts to spiral out of control, he turns to his professor, but is it too late? What will it take for Drew to find peace with himself instead of a pill bottle?
Starring: Kathleen Quinlan, Gil Bellows, Luke Guldan, Lauren Sweetser, Thom Christopher

One of my favorite romantic comedies for sure. I loved the characters, the situation, and while there was that one protagonist <antagonist>, the landlord's son, he wasn't evil, he was just a sch-mots. It always makes me feel happy to watch the film.

Ben Crane (Kurt Russell) is a horse trainer who is struggling to connect with his precocious daughter, Cale (Dakota Fanning). But then a horse by the name of Soñador suffers a broken leg after its evil owner (David Morse) races her despite Ben's advice. Rather than put his client's injured horse down, Ben adopts her and welcomes Cale into the family business. They train Soñador to race again as grouchy but kind-hearted Grandpa (Kris Kristofferson) lends his encouragement.

A good movie.

Carmen on Prime. It's an excellent movie about a woman who has taken care of her brother since she was 16. After his death she is alone at 50. She has nothing and nowhere to go. She is very resourceful and finds a way to fend for herself.

Aladdin is a lovable street urchin who meets Princess Jasmine, the beautiful daughter of the sultan of Agrabah. While visiting her exotic palace, Aladdin stumbles upon a magic oil lamp that unleashes a powerful, wisecracking, larger-than-life genie. As Aladdin and the genie start to become friends, they must soon embark on a dangerous mission to stop the evil sorcerer, Jafar, from overthrowing young Jasmine's kingdom.

A great movie

"Happiness for Beginners" on Netflix. It's a good movie if there's nothing else on. If you like action flicks then this is not for you. If you like deep meaning and intrigue then this is not for you. If you like star-studded movies this is not for you. If you like surprise endings, this is not for you.
But if you like cute sweet doctors half your age and happy endings then this is for you! I liked it 😊
