Early dinner. Minted lamb steak with mixed vegetables. I don't normally eat lamb but, it was very nice.

@OneEyedDiva . I had the Duck Spring rolls for lunch today, with Hoisin and plum sauce. My mistake I thought there was 50 in the bags of Duck and vegetable spring rolls from Costco, but there's only 30...

They look good too. So was it hoisin and plum sauce mixed together or you ate them separately? I don't think I've ever had Hoisin but the ingredients seem like an interesting combination. Next time my son goes to Costco, I'm going to have him check to see if they're still selling the spring rolls. Sometimes they don't stock items until they are on sale again.

No the hoisin and plum sauce was on the side... I particularly like Hoisin sauce with Chinese food, and I always think of Duck spring rolls at Chinese.. The Duck spring rolls just have shredded duck and vegetables..

The same salad that's pictured below but without the tomatoes (I'm out). It's broccoli, tri-colored quinoa, chopped egg, shredded mozzarella and croutons with thousand island dressing. I used a bit more mozzarella this time and I ate half of what I fixed. I'll have the rest for lunch tomorrow.

We were hungry today . We had frozen wee pizzas in microwave for lunch. Fish and chips for dinner. Currently just finished and having dessert, toasts and preserves. Yummy! Cup of tea to wash it all down...

Now look here, I have to say.. for the first time ever I bought frozen microwavable mashed potato... I've always seen it and ignored it in the stores, but recently many people have been extolling the virtues of this Mashed potato.. so I decided everybody can't be wrong... *ugh*.. boy I was wrong and so were they !

Disgusting powdery fake taste barely resembling potato in both texture and taste.. . The rest of the packet will be leaving the freezer tomorrow and into the bin.. How do people eat this muck ?
