I just had Mutton Pie and Baked beans... only because I'd forgotten I'd already deforsted Chicken for dinner... so after I washed up I saw the chicken in the fridge, now it's in the AF being cooked for lunch tomorrow

For lunch boiled some rotini pasta in a rectangular Pyrex dish, drained, added a can of tuna fish, mayonnaise, salt, then mic-d a couple minutes more. Now while typing, eating for lunch with some milk.

I had leftover chicken from roast split breasts I made yesterday.
It was particularly good. 425° about 47 minutes. A little olive oil, salt, pepper, Greek seasoning, smoked paprika.
It's going in the rotation!

I've been making this:
Oven-baked (*quick*– not over-night!) French Toast Casserole
I made it wth Brioche the first time then the second time with a regular store soft Italian and I saw no difference (except the price of Brioche!)

Aussies rarely eat mutton ….its mainly used in small goods because of its high FAT content , and its tough because of being older sheep , some hotels serve mutton stew type dishes in winter.
I haven’t seen mutton in supermarkets for years,….. but even if I seen it I wouldn’t buy it it’s way way to high in fat content for me
Having lived on a huge sheep farm for many years before meeting my hubs, I know what sheep were bought by the butchers and it was old ewes who were past their breeding days.

I got a pot of chili ready to simmer and suddenly wished I had made hamburgers instead. I think what happened was I woke up to chilly weather, wanted something warm, and got stuck on autopilot. By noon the weather had warmed up quit a bit.
