My new honorary son (#3) took me to Amazon Fresh last night. He goes for the 50% off salad bar items a few times a week. I got New England clam chowder, a salad (with a little buffalo chicken salad added) and macaroni and cheese. I only ate part of it last night. I had half the clam chowder for lunch today. I'll probably have the mac and cheese with the remainder of the salad tonight.

Chicken salad with grilled chicken, red grapes, celery, sour cream/yoghurt, horseradish dill, oven warm bread sticks, butter lettuce.

I'm probably going to make a Tuna Casserole. I have all the ingredients: 2 cans albacore tuna, frozen peas, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup,, chic pea pasta, Swiss cheese.

I cook the pasta first and set it aside after draining, then I mix all the ingredients except the cheese Next I mix the pasta into the mixture. Then I layer the mixture topping each layer with slices of Swiss cheese.

Cook for an hour at 325 degrees. I have also used other cheeses. My dad used to use cream cheese and that was good also!

I think I am going to enjoy this tonight

Cold and rainy here today!

I’m making clean out the fridge tomato gravy with turkey meatballs in the crockpot.

I’ll freeze a couple meal sized containers and a couple one cup containers to add to soups.
