When feeling a little down, what is your best way out?

I know this is a strange thing, but a town not far (25 miles away) has a mountain stream through it.
In fact, I just came from there! I sit on the boulders (that are alive) and put my feet in the stream.
Or I sit in the tall grass and listen to the water rippling over the rocks, breathe in the fresh air and
feel one with the multiverse and thankful for nature all around me.

Oh, and Happy Birthday Richard, Roy, Robert, Rasputin, (whomever R is)

I'd like to go to the boat launch a lot or I'll sit at Panera's and just watch people
That's what I do every morning.
I'm usually the very 1st one in line for the drive-through when they open.

I try to find what is really bugging me. It's usually something stupid I did, or someone did or said something to offend me. Then I write it down describing everything as best I can. I read what I wrote and that is it. Somehow it puts everything to rest. I've learned not to tell anyone else, because 10 times out of 10 they give some glib answer as if it is nothing I should be down about, then I'm depressed about that too.
Great suggestion ....I read the same advice years ago and also once finished to tear it up and throw it away as symbolic of letting it all go...I will have to try that next time Thanks :)
