Who all had had the Shingles vaccine?

Thanks for the reminder, it's on my to-do list.
I had shingles in my late twenties, it wasn't nice but I'm sure it could have been worse.
Wifey got her first jab recently and felt pretty ordinary for a few days.
 

I got shingles a couple times and it was so minor that I didn’t bother with the vaccine. Then a year or so later, It came back….and it was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced! I have a high pain tolerance (e.g.5 kids home births no drugs) but that shingles pain literally brought me to my knees a couple times!

My doc prescribed Valtrex to help with the pain and duration, and strongly encouraged me to get the Shingles vaccine after I had recovered.

I did, the two shot series of Shingrix. Slightly painful, but worth it to not get Shingles again!
 

I had it also as I had begun to have some vague rash I attributed to may have been shingles beginning a few months
prior to Shingrex coming out free. The shot is a strong impact but it just lasts the blink of an eye. Sore arm for a day or so.
But no more rash has appeared since I had it. That itching of that rash lasts for days and weeks. I won't regret getting it.
