Who are we? (The thread on religion, that Lennon's "Imagine" receives not a single "Like"!)

There are at least 21 million dreams as this is the amount of records, recordings of "Imagine" sold:

The number of copies ‘Imagine’ has sold According to ChartMasters, since 1971 “Imagine” has impressively sold almost 21 million copies worldwide – this includes “physical single, download, ringtone, and streaming, as well as its share among sales of all albums on which it is featured.”

Dream on as you are not dreaming alone.

Thank you for your reply!

It is not a personal matter. I have been and will continue to be to the very end a "dreamer". I would love to see people realizing that nothing, really, separates us, other that the artificial walls that we build between us.

I was disappointed by the (non) reaction of the people on this forum. I would hate to think that I'm the only "dreamer" around.... :(

I'd rather believe that I'm the "village crazy", or that I'm on everybody's ignore list, than think that nobody has a little bit of a "dreamer" inside them... :(
Maybe if you reveal what your dreams are and if you have realised any of them, then posters may loosen up and tell their stories. Some, like me, may not have even seen the thread.

My personal dreams are unrelated to my observation. Lennon's universal "dream" is way beyond any of my "petty" personal dreams. The thread I referred to has been on since Tuesday. What Do Real Muslims Believe?
My post with Lennon's "Imagine" was posted yesterday.

Man, I don't know
Seems dreams are quite necessary
Especially the hard ones
It's a dimension of thought I most enjoy
Keeps me goin'.....headin' a good direction

How difficult, yet how easy, would a dream be for us all to consider every other human being as a citizen of this world with nothing separating us other than the man-made labels that we choose to wear...

I do not know what you are precisely after, but here goes. I had a dream to study archaeology, so went to university, then joined a few digs in Egypt and Italy, got bored. Met my husband in Europe, we fell in love, got married. The plan was to retire in our forties, buy a boat and travel the world. We did just that, I write for travel blogs, magazines, etc and he is a marine engineer giving advice online and drums up business for our sons, who are both boat designers. That part of the dream came true, but covid halted the rest. More is yet to come, bearing in mind I am nearly 65 and he 66, but we are healthy and quite strong. Take each day as it comes!

I've been there most my life

Funny, in jail, folks seem to find their own...segregate
But
One on one, totally different story

Turns out, folks are just folks...all walks of life
Trouble is, it ain't the same walk....

No matter what everybody's walk is, no matter what personal problems or dreams everybody has, the concept of considering everybody on the planet as a brother (or sister) is not so hard to conceive. The problem begins at the point where one chooses to consider oneself as "different" from someone else because of a "label" one one chooses to wear (be it ethnicity, religion, color of skin, sexual orientation etc. etc. etc.)

What I'm precisely after is the "crazy" dream of treating every other human being as just that, a human being. Not more, not less. As I said, it has nothing to do with my personal dreams.

well, in that case, I treat everyone on an individual basis. I take people as they come. I do not live with my head in the clouds, if we did, we would havebeen pirated many times. I do not for a moment imagine we are all the same and I am not talking about colour and religion here. I am colour blind and religion is not a significant part of my life, but a Creator is!

One can have their own beliefs, ideas, principles. What I'm asking from you (and everybody else) is not to consider someone a priori an enemy just because they have a different set of beliefs, ideas or principles.
