Will you get the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes available?

I have never heard of a vaccine or any other drug having a "tracker," which can send out information about a person (where they go, etc.). This is the hokey kind of science fiction theory that always appeals to those with paranoid inclinations. As others have asked, where is the proof that any vaccine on earth has such abilities?

But, for those who are worried about being tracked, better be careful using your computer, cell phone, ipad, kindle, TV, Alexa, or even your car. Anything containing a GPS can track where those devices are. And the "intelligent" devices keep running records on your whereabouts, your entertainment preferences, etc. Your credit card can probably write a complete biography on your life. I'd be more worried about that than imaginary fears about a drug that hasn't even been invented yet!

Yep. We are already tracked.
 
They say if you just google your own name, you will be amazed at how much information about you is out there on the internet. And probably a lot more that isn't made public. This is disturbing, and a well-known problem of the age we live in.

But "trackers" in medical drugs? That I doubt, very, very much. I think the fact that this disease has been so politicized has led the way to all sorts of wacko theories. It's just a disease, and I believe that any vaccine against it will be just a vaccine.
 
I was born during the height of the polio epidemic. At age 6 or 7, Like all school children, I was given the vaccine. That's a LOT of years to wait for a vaccine and what happens in the meantime?

I would prefer NOT to be vaccinated for covid 19. My immune system is strong enough to fight it off. But I have a feeling the government will force us all to be vaccinated by taking away all of our freedoms permanently unless we submit.

Yeah, I can see the day coming where when given the shot, the government also issues an ID card to carry around and show whenever out in public to prove we got the shot.
Seniors with a pre-existing condition and a weak immune system seem to be the most vulnerable. Since moving to the forest, I've had a huge number of bug bites, etc., which should go a long way towards keeping my immune system "exercised".

Oh I have. I can't wear a mask due to a medical condition as I've mentioned here before. So I have not been allowed to enter any store of any kind in my home state. I have to leave the state if I want to feel normal.I can't get on an elevator. I can't enjoy indoor dining. I can't enter any government building like the post office or city hall, or and doctor's office or dentist's. In my home state, I may as well be dead!

This is what I believe the government will do. They will SAY you're free to refuse but you can never go anywhere or go near anybody again without a mask on. And so people will be forced to accept vaccination.

My cousin in CA thought she had the virus last May and went to the doctor's. It was just the flu though she did show some covid symptoms. They gave her an antibiotics cocktail of Tetracycline and Doxycycline and she got better.

Thank you. I got your flu shot today, my arm hurts, but, honestly @win231, I just wanted to spare you the pain because you are such an angel. I just don’t understand those horns peaking out above your halo.
 
Absolutely I will get the vaccine. Along with many other colleagues, I help support frontline and essential workers deal with the stress of dealing with Covid, also offer grief workshops. My boss d.ied of Covid, several clients also. If getting the vaccine can possibly help, I am in
 
My doctor and I had a discussion about this. He said no way would he take a rushed vaccine that comes out (possibly) in November. He said, however, after watching what his brother went through...he almost died and had terrible nightmares while in the hospital..he'd take the vaccine when it's reasonable to do so. I'll make my decision sometime in the future.

Her doctors' treatment illustrates exactly what is wrong with medicine. The flu is a virus. Antibiotics do nothing for viruses. Their overuse has created drug-resistant bacteria. She got better because her immune system fought it off. Nothing to do with her antibiotic cocktail.

And all that is not to protect you or anyone from you; it's only for "Solidarity, & to show we're all in this together" as Dr. Fauci said.
 
The White House pressured the drug makers to REDUCE the effectiveness to 50% so they could produce one before election day. SO NO, I WILL NOT get a vaccine until they have made a proper one! What would be the use of having one if its only 50% effective??? No thanks!
 
If I was younger, still worked and socialized more I would get it, but now I'll take a good long look to see how it might be affecting other people.
