Was another good day at the office.
Found homes for my adult colour books and coloured pencils, which means 2 containers less when I move.
In my mind, not everything has to be sold…..these persons were very tickled to receive these…..will deliver them this week.

Did some clothes organizing, and spent some time at my sewing machines.

Did laundry at my usual time in the "middle of the night". I finally washed my comforter that I had mended then put in a plastic trash bag. I also did another double load. My son took that downstairs for me. I realized that doing two (double) loads at the same time actually isn't that bad, as long as I dry one of the loads downstairs. I can have my son take one bag down for me when he's on his way to work. I brought up the laundry to dry in my apartment then went back down to get the comforter out of the dryer. I got my exercise to boot. :D I'll only dry the blankets and throws that are left down there and I won't have to do that often. Our apartment stays pretty warm.

I did more rearranging of stock and items in my closets. I loaded and ran the dishwasher (fell asleep unbeknownst to myself before I could do it last night), cleaned the litter box and did some light cleaning. By 9:00 a.m. I felt like I'd done a days work.

I woke up, 4:15 am, feeling better, lighter. I didn't want to say anything yesterday, but it was a bad day, I was depressed in body and mind. I feel today will be better, after all Howard Stern comes on at 7am! That always helps! Seriously, yesterday was awful, but as the song says "yesterday's gone."

Good morning, Invisipeeps! It's Monday and a day off for me. What's more is that the sun will be out today.

Laundry, Walmart, a turn around the garden are all on the agenda today.

Spring is only 53 days away. Woohoo and stuff.

Oops...that would be 56 days away. My bad.

Snowing this morning. Snow plows are working. My new aide is supposed to start today but if she can't make it I understand. I believe all the schools are closed and don't know about the roads yet. Having coffee now and will see what happens as my day unfolds. Have a great day everyone!

WOW….sounds like you’re really getting dumped on with sNOw.

Had a really productive day yesterday, aiming for the same for today.
Tomorrow’s garbage day……don’t have much extra…..which means I’m getting a handle on things in prep for my move.
Think I will make myself do some sNOw shovelling…..still have some of the guys paths to extend…..pulled muscle in my back is feeling better, so will try and give it a good go.
Also have sNOw on my cement patio that I haven’t totally cleared since Christmas.
We have had some beautiful days this last week plus, and today will be better, only got down to -2c, very unusual for us at this time of winter, not a lot of sun though…..so something to get me outside will be good.

Help with shovelling from my foster daughter is non existent. 🙁.
Last week I mentioned it’s been 3 weeks since I’ve heard from her…..her cell is totally busted, which is her 11th cell phone.
But…..
Her partner has a cell with Phone plan…..so it wouldn’t cost to text or call.

Ran into them at the grocery store this past Friday…..same excuse…..not good with communication skills…..she didn’t say much.

They still have no vehicle.
Learned that one of her sisters who lives in town has gotten a vehicle, so she’s using it…..but not to come 10 blocks to my place.
Apparently her sister has had this vehicle since before Christmas…..so…..she was with them for Xmas supper…..but my foster daughter didn’t bother bringing me a plate since I couldn’t make it because I hurt my back that day.

I must be expecting WAY TOO MUCH……I cause myself so much frustration over this.
Think I’ll go shovel some sNOw to wear some of the frustration off.😤😤😤.

Done complaining for now…..will save some for later.

Hub has a Fire Dept. construction meeting...probably view some new potential properties to purchase. He is the fire commissioner and fire dept. pres. so has to be there to give the nod in the right direction and sign the checks...lol.

We have a 2 bedroom apt. over the 4 car garage that is making me wonder today what it would be like to rehab it a bit and rent it out. Its so nice there...you feel like you are living in a "treehouse". We lived there when building the main house. I know, how would you find reliable renters, huh. Sigh. Beautiful sunny day, though.
Enjoy your day, folks.

A quiet day after a fairly busy weekend.

The meetings of the board I joined are on Mondays (just once a month). So I think I should do some board work on Mondays. They sent me some info, so I guess I'll look at it today.

I'm not a schedule freak by nature. But nowadays time, energy, and motivation seem in short supply. Scheduling really helps me.

Otherwise every day would be a rest day. Skip the shower, stay in bed, and read. Oh yeah.

Going back to the shop today to continue disassembling, cleaning, and repair/adjusting the new to me milling machine. Will be putting some old blankets around the backhoe engine, and plugging in the block heater, as their is 6-10" of snow in the forecast. Also have to get out to the propane tanks for the house, and adjust the regulators on the two tanks. Nice sunny day today, and supposed to get up to 31F. My wife will be giving Li'l Bit a bath as the dog trainer is coming again tomorrow.

On my early walk at 6:30 temp was 30 the 2 inches of snow we got late yesterday afternoon looks lovely on the trees, too bad the sun won't be out today
This morning took the bus went to Super Cuts, had hair cut for the 1st time since last Sept,it was too long for my taste.I have thick, natural curly hair, knew it was time, now its really short
The rest of my day read NYT, may go for another walk, after dinner tackle the NYT daily crossword puzzle, then watch' Kids Baking Championship' on Food Network. This season all of the kids have their own businesses, ages 11-13,talented bakers, amazes me every time what they can create

just a sprinkle a few days ago,no frost for 4 days, grass is dry,,ground still hard in the shade,,,,,been in my shorts most of the day, lolol,,
It's been very sunny here for the last 4 days.. Blue skies no cloud... but thick , thick ice.. temps below freezing all day every day . Grass would be absolutely impossibly to cut. I leave footprints in the ice when I walk across it..

Just waiting for the delivery of one of the books I ordered... apparently it won't be here until between 7pm and 9pm.. ridiculously late tbh , and in the dark and plummeting temperatures..

I ordered 4 books (thought I'd ordered 3 ).. but they're all going to be delivered on different days which is a bit of a nuisance..

This week is the Birthday celebration of the Scottish Poet Rabbie Burns.. and lots of places have Scottish dancing, and fancy dinners and Poetry readings on the 25th of the month.. and many restaurants and pubs serve up Haggis Tatties and Neeps for the whole week of the celebration.. So tomorrow i'm hoping to go to a Burns supper Lunch.. ..if it's not snowing..

Ok, @hollydolly , I know what haggis and tatties are but I had to look up neeps— Sounds rib-sticking

When I was married we belonged to the Scottish associated and we went to the Burns dinner yearly. It’s a big deal with 500 people attending, whiskey tasting before dinner, music and speeches. Burns was a good poet but a horrible person.
