I'm running today 🏃....no time to read posts right now. Supposedly, Dio and I are getting our teeth cleaned this morning. However, they seemed to have lost his appointment!!

Morning breakfast clubbers !!! Welp, I'm recovering from that
doctor visit yest afternoon, he had me walk briskly around the building (inside) to measure my breath works....and am going to
a pulmonology place one day soon,....doc believes I am having
a "Flare" episode of copd breathing problems...we will see I guess...waiting for lawn guy as he's missed last two days...durn it....so other than a bit of laundry, nothing planned for the day...our area in severe air quality warning, so will stay in
a/c home to keep breathing.....have a great day./......;):love:
 
Yesterday…..no outside time again…..was 36c, not a leaf was moving…..thunderstorm forecasted for late afternoon, got thunder and about 21 drops of rain.
Got more garbage ready to go, bin to the curb last nite, already picked up…..so far I haven’t had to ask anyone to make any trips to the dump for me…..being able to do it through weekly garbage pick up.

Did the grocery thing as well…..and dropped off some papers at the lawyers, to get ready for signing next Friday……I’m going to be signing everything next Friday, so I don’t have to come back after the 19th, possession is the 21st.
The money will be deposited into my account a few days after possession.

The new owners were wanting to meet me, and stop in with some paint samples and take some measurements, and looked inside the shed, which I forgot to leave unlocked when they viewed the place.

They are a retired couple…..she is my age, 64, he’s 68…..he still works for a local farmer, has been for 20 years, he used to farm as well.
They said my place was exactly what they were looking for…..so nice of them to say.

It is a small world……she looked very familiar from many years ago…..would you believe…..I dated her first cousin, way back in 1988.

Today……have a dump doctor appointment…..why is it dumb…..I asked the pharmacy to fax over a request on a fill on a med over a week ago.
Guess what……my new doctor I started with last November has left……have to see a new doctor to renew some meds…..I hope I can understand this one if he has an accent……fun….fun…..fun. 😕😒🥴🙄.

That it for now from my peanut gallery. 😉.
 
I phoned the Hospital today , after waiting 9 weeks and not getting my MRI Scan results, I was told they are in the System now so will be passed onto the Dr.,I wonder how long they have been sitting there in the System, and if I had not phoned how much longer would they have been there ..
I also phoned to arrange my Carriage ride round the Vale in July , waiting to hear back if the date I selected would be free.

That's happened to me many times as well.. as you say if you hadn't chased it up, they could have been there forever.

The Doctor is apparently calling me at home on Thursday to discuss my Knee and hip X-rays.. I think they were done 3 week ago or more..usually I have to wait longer.. so this makes a change..

Just been looking at Property in semi remote part of Scotland.. by the beach.. and I'm sorely tempted to move there, it's beautiful.. however it's very far from my only 'child'' so I doubt if it can be a reality.. and also.. I have to really have my sensible head on.. and not go where there's nothing to do...
 
Well, since Mac has discovered woodchucks,, he escapes from the house when door isn't closed tightly.
He runs like the wind ,,won't come to us.

Yes,, I feel we haven't trained him well.

Walks aren't using up his energy.
Inside the house he wants out.
Being on the enclosed back porch doesn't settle him down.

Can imagine him in a fence , either digging out or climbing it

I'm afraid we are going have to give him up.

Hot 🔥. It was already 84 when i got home at 11. Too hot to work in the garden the weeds are safe for another day. Everybody got a good healthy watering b4 I had to escape to some shade.

I thought Newest Lady was part time.
Nope. Full time. Yaaaay! This makes me very happy. Now when store manager says we are fully staffed, he's telling the truth. She seems to like being in the bakery. Fingers crossed 🤞

The squirrels won. When I stepped outside after I got home there was one little beast merrily chewing through the tub I got for storing bird seed. 😡😡😡😡

Fixed that right quick by dumping it all in a big trash sack and putting the sack in the garage. Threw the tub in the outdoor trash can.

On the farm I got to the point of getting metal trash cans for birdseed……those little suckers couldn’t chew through those. 😉😊😆.

I'm actually not just amazed but astounded. Dishes still in the sink..or on the drainer.. animal food dishes in full view... I came across one home where they hadn't even made the bed... it actually looked like someone was still in it !! :eek:

I wonder about that myself! What happened to "presentation" to make someone want to buy it? I have seen some awful ones.

When I had a high energy dog in addition to walking I had a ball and plastic holder that allowed me to throw the ball far. I could wear him out throwing the ball for 30-60 minutes and it didn’t wear me out or my arm. They sell them at any discount store and they are cheap.
 
I walked to the park this morning. Sat there for an hour. Kept wondering why it was so overcast. Isn't usually like that here. Plus I was smelling wood smoke and thought someone was having a fire or a house was on fire. After I got back in here and checked the computer I discovered it was the smoke from the Canadian wild fires. It did give me a sore throat. I was just getting over my cold and now I am coughing again. I will wear a mask if I go outside again. I really feel sorry now for all the people who have suffered with wild fires in their areas now.

Having black licorice ice cream (except it is not black but white) for my supper right now. Soothes my throat!
