Was heading toward 70 this morning sun shinning. Took the dog for are morning walk, and it started clouding up. Figured it was a good time to weed whack around the fire pit. Just finished up with nice cloud cover, and down it came. Rained hard for twenty minutes, then hailed for a while. Temp dropped from 70 to 49 in a few minutes. Always enjoy the thunder and lightning, and should have some nice rainbows when the sun comes back out.

The lawns, flowers, and veggie gardens will be ready for it. Not to leave out those robins looking for worms.

Agree. I was just considering thunder, lightning and a decent rainfall. The sounds and the light show I find very entertaining and actually relaxing. Our dogs think otherwise.

Today was in the high 80's but if no-one had told me that I would have guessed the 90's... it was HOT... Mediterranean hot... it's telling me that now at racing toward 10.40pm..it's 63 degrees... I wish someone would tell my over insulated house... It's like a greenhouse in here. I might have to take a walk around the garden... or even around the block to cool down

We had storms early morning here...I had a yard full of downed limbs, my son came and removed the larger ones with the tractor, neighbor's roof blew off.

Unbearably hot and humid here. 100degF (38degC) with a 'feels like' of 110degF. No relief in the forecast for the next four days.

Bought an old-fashioned dial type thermometer for the workshop today - inflicting, of course, more to the misery of hanging out there. Good news is paid cash for it at the store so have not been bombarded online with a gazillion ads to buy another one.
