@Trila, there are products specifically for mild. You might want to try those.

@IKE, did you get the Speedqueen set? That brand isn’t sold in Canada anymore, which is too bad.

Heading downtown today. Several things I need and that’s where they sell them.

This morning, I was thinking about going shooting. It was my hobby along with soon2Bex... he got me into it tbh... only target shooting.. but we stopped going when Covid hit at the beginning of 2020.. and then the break up of my marriage and all that entailed, happened.. and here we are, I can hardly believe it's 3 and a half years later.. and I got my guns out today and realised... with the heaviest heart, due to the arthritis predominately in my right fingers, I will never shoot again. I just haven't got the strength to pull the trigger...:(

In my next life I'm coming back as a meteorologist so I can get paid big bucks to be wrong most of the time. Up until around 3 this afternoon, we were going to get rain by 5am tomorrow. Now we have a 50/50 chance of rain by 5pm tomorrow. Grrr. The stupid forecast has been getting better and better for days...until now.:mad:
You could definitely use some predictably great weather, for a nice good stretch of days, there. I hope you get some!

All this talk of dusting made me feel (just a little bit) guilty. I sorted through sheets and since some are stored on a very high shelf, I climbed up and down to dust the storage spots. Enough of that nonsense for a long while. Good riddance to too many sheets.
Don't worry. We can't see up there, from here at SF! 😄😁☺️😊😍
(Thankfully for me, too!!!🙃😆:oops::rolleyes:🤣)

Talking of too many sheets... I do have a lot of sheets, and I do have regular clear outs, so none are very old..I've however got loads of Duvets and comforters... again all relatively new.. and taking up far too much room. I have them all in my Ottoman storage bed base.. but really I could do with using that space more productively..

If you need to get rid of them, animal shelters take them .. at least, they do here.
I don't know if homeless shelters take them as well.

No neither the homeless shelters.. especially the homeless charities... nor the dogs shelters take them.. unless they're still in their original packaging. It's not that I want particualrly to get rid of them, because as I said they're relatively new..and expensive.. it's just they're taking up too much space..

Had to take down a tree for my neighbor. It was dicey because there was nowhere to fall it, because it was surrounded by other trees, but with some creativity, I got it done.
I usually pull one limb at a time, then top it and bring it down about a foot at a time off a ladder. Thas my way. some need for a 50' rope tied to it and at an angle to its gravity straight down fall + the helper to break off the partially sawed limb / it starts to bend down, for safety. It takes some touch, maybe a wedge on the trunk to get its feel of fall time. ...practice 4 sure on that! ......:ROFLMAO: Also some limbs are going to hang up, reason for the rope, even the UTV / F150 or Winch can pull it off with the rope.

I have felled them in the past with a couple of heavy chains linked between two trees far apart, then rigged a snatch block about midway, then run a very long rope a good way up the tree, then all the way to the snatch block and down to my 4 x 4 (Out of harm's way). Then I do my pie cut, and start my back cut, then gently give a little tug with my truck to see if it wants to go. If not, then I dig a little deeper with the back cut and repeat. When I see it going, then I give it more pull.
This one had nowhere to fall. Too many surrounding trees, so I had to pull out a few tricks, to take it down from the butt piece by piece, but it all worked out (Fortunately it wasn't as tall as some). Didn't even damage any of the other trees. I hadn't attempted that maneuver before, but it is sure satisfying when things go according to plan, which they don't always do. 😲

Part of what I am doing today,
is getting myself rather mixed up,:oops: while reading this thread;:rolleyes:
I was thinking that I was reading "today's posts about today"

when I was actually reading yesterday's posts,o_O
or the day-before's posts, :eek:
which were all about yesterday or the day before, or about today.....:oops:
I don't know which! o_O:unsure:o_O:ROFLMAO:

I am trying to figure it out, in my mind, right now;
today, that is. :sneaky::giggle:

Thinking of you, today ... @Pinky

And @Jules and any others who have had trouble sleeping, this week.....

And @Sliverfox I hope your husband can find relief, soon.

I have been doing some coloring, to try to relax myself.
And watching some goldfinches, out the window.
