OMG this better not be a trend; waking up at 1am I mean. I feel like a Zombie and the day didn't even start yet. Hey! I'm up before @Georgiagranny!

I didn't win Mega Millions. I don't understand. The numbers on my ticket looked like winners. Drat.
So sorry for your loss. She sounds like a wonderful mother-in-law! 104 is quite the long life. Sounds like she packed a lot of living into it.Have been napping to catch up on a sleepless night. I'd gotten a message to tell me that my former Mum-
in-law in Australia had passed away. She was almost 104. I lived with her a couple of times. We got along
superbly, went downtown arm-in-arm. We always stopped for lunch at an outdoor cafe, and she would treat
us to a very sweet chocolate "frog" from Haigh's.
She was a top-seller of Avon, and won a trip to Canada, back in the 60's. Her corner cabinet was filled with
awards, of which she gifted me one of them. She sold Avon, well into her 90's.
Sadly, her last few years were spent fairly immobile. That would have been extremely difficult, as she was a
whirlwind of activity all her life. She had the best of loving care, living with her daughter and son-in-law, up
in the hills of Adelaide.
She was a gem.

ooooh lovely pics, he's getting to be such a big boy so quicklyHad a great day yesterday with grandson at the beach. Had to go to the area anyway to do a business pickup so we made a bit of a day of it. Took him for lunch, had a long walk along the strand (well, he mostly ran while one of us pushed the stroller and the other kept up with him), watched the surfers (he was fascinated by them) and some playtime on the grass. Before we knew it, four hours had elapsed and it was time to go home.
The lines were so long to get into the County Fair (over an hour!) that we bagged it. Later learned it was a BOGO day. Bring some canned food for local food pantries and get the second person in free. Ugh...
Probably had a better time just letting him run and play than if we'd done the crowded fair. It was a lovely day.
