I'm surprised that something happened the way it was supposed to (that they were competent). Now a days it just seems to be more and more rare for this to happen.

As far as you using their products.....I admit ignorance. I do not know what it is that was delivered.

Today's sNOwfall started out very pretty.....

We had a special visitor today....

Howard was just hanging around, probably disgusted with the weather!!

We knew that he was still around, since we see him once in a while, mostly we hear him. After Dio released him, he never left the area. This is his home.

Thank you. The bird passed away in September. Suzy is still here thank God. Her medicine is helping her still. I don't have any hot cereal although I love it. I'm going to make dinner shortly and doggie and I will cuddle up and watch a movie.

How are you and your doggie doing tonight?

I wonder if we will see any of that storm here.
Oh Ruth I'm sorry you lost the bird. I know Suzy has an health issue but I'm so glad her medicine is helping her!

You have a nice dinner and enjoy your movie with Suzy. My doggie and I shall do the same. Altho' I might bee asleep soon.

I am at the cricket today.
32 degrees (90F) though much cooler sitting in the shade under the eucalypt trees.
Mt Lawley are playing Rockingham-Mandurah in a 50 over match.
Here is Mt Lawley bowler David Delaney in mid stride bowling to Teague Wyllie.

Scoreboard after 18 overs

Another wicket has fallen whilst I was posting this. Score now is 4/105 with Wyllie stumped for 57 runs

I am sure I have never seen this before, @Furryanimal, the wicket keeper has his pads under his trousers.

Score after the requisite 50 overs.

Here and alive and kicking. It's raining and not very warm, but the rain is supposed to stop in a couple of hours, clear up and be sunny until Tuesday. Maybe.

Places to go, things to do. Like going to the bakery and baking stuff. Lots of stuff. NL and Sir should both be there this morning.

Right now I've gotta gather my wits, get dressed, etc.

Y'all behave while I'm gone.

why are your cricketers wearing colours ?

They wear whites for test matches and two day games.
The Coloured clothes are for One Day Games - 50 overs a side. or 20 overs a side.
This game was a one day game.
oooh that's a great idea...fun colours.. Ours wear whites all the time, even if it's only a Sunday afternoon match on the village green ..like this at ours

Cold here today, too. High of only 63°F/18°C, lows 44F°/7°C today. Very brrr.....

Toddler grandson coming for a few hours this morning, an unscheduled visit but our future grandson is already getting on his 7 month pregnant mother's nerves. In this case, he's causing crippling pain via her sciatic nerve.

Yesterday saw serious progress on my recipe book updates. Am now about 1/3 through the task.

Wow, sorry to hear that. I had back labor with my son, his head was in the correct position--down--but he was facing the wrong way and his feet kept kicking my spine! Felt like I swallowed a live hand grenade!

Do you keep a digital version too. I had a large portion of file drawer dedicated to recipe folders. Bit by bit, I’ve transferred or disposed of most of them. I save new recipes that I find on my computer too. I read my from iPad or print a copy when I’m making something new. I’ll update them with comments as I go. Occasionally I’ll give an updated copy to my DDs or DGDs.

Neither Sir nor NL came in until just before I left at 11:30. I didn't finish. Oh, well, I'm just one person, yanno?

@fuzzybuddy LOL about the bread. Down here if sNOw or ice is predicted, the stores get slammed with people buying candles, beer, toilet paper, bread, eggs, milk. Just the essentials, donchano? The beer is essential, of course.

It was supposed to be sunny by now. It's not, dammit. At least the rain is over.

My forehead is black and blue where the derma doc took a scraping for a biopsy. Do I need to put my head in a sling?

Yes. All my recipes are typed out on my computer. Only "tried and true" recipes make it to the cookbook binder though.

Recipes I find on line get saved into a different folder. They only make it into the cookbook if I find them worthy of making again.

I can never understand this kind of thinking. At least a week's worth of food and staple supplies should be in people's pantries. People panic buying bottled water mystifies me. If you bought it for the last emergency, why not just keep it rather than drinking it and then having to panic buy it again six months later? Same with canned foods. When you use some up, replace them. Buy shelf stable milk for emergency back up.

It ain't rocket science.

I will be hoping for Snow today. Sick & tired of No Snow. It's been two years. Enough already!
We should get snow today. I need to go get gas in the car.

I volunteered today, mostly outdoors, and my legs are still cold. That was two hours ago. I just can't keep my legs warm enough. Once I fill the gas tank, I am in for the day, I think.
