Morning folks!!! It's a great 55 deg F, here this morning, dunno
if my groundhog stuck his face out into the sun or not, but it
is shining...kinda achy today in my hips, bursitis you know...ah well....not doing great here on computer, just had to change passwords on here, old brain cells have difficulty with those...
no big plans for the day or weekend, just go with the flow!!!
Make it a great day all........;):p:love:

It's warmer today but steadily raining nonstop... So, it's laundry day. While everything goes round and round in circles in the kitchen, we've enjoyed the two "Haunted Mansion" films. Followed by "Bednobs and Broomsticks".

Next, Sound of Music and more undecided yet 😹😹😹

Pork schnitzel (breaded pounded thin pork cuts) with Mashed Potatoes and veggies plus Apple Sauce for dinner. Showers later on.

UPDATE: we decided to have a Parsley sauce with our schnitzels and I added leftover can of mushrooms to our mashed potatoes and skipped the apple sauce. Yummy!

🤧 I'll know how my day's going as soon as I stop sneezing. Too early for spring pollen (no matter what ol' Phil says), and my throat is starting to get sore along with a headache. So... not sure what all that means, but I'll be sure not to breathe on ya'll. 🤧

Other than that, just trying to find some new recipes and cleaning the pantry today.

Ooh sorry about your allergic sneezing🤧. I've pondered that question myself once a blue moon ago. Concluded that for a long time, my allergies were 12 months a year. After two years, I was able to get off the allergy pills.

Nowadays, it's on and off. Which I basically call, "Allergic reaction, when it's in the mood of doing so..." It's not as often as it used to be 20 years ago. Thankfully, changing environment with different flora and fauna has been a good thing!

So I'd say, keep your chin up and the tissues close by and one day, it'll be gone. Fingers-crossed!

Well...I've achieved a few things today at last..

Drove out in the sunshine.( albeit windy)... to 2 towns away.. and did some bricks and mortar banking. Quite a queue in there , I was surprised to see such a queue, but tbf every customer bar me were very clearly pensioners.. most in their 80's . One guy probably in his 70's but not doddering was obviously not used to drawing money out of the counter, and he asked for £400.... and could he have it in cash.. :D

I dropped off the big bag of my tees and vest tops to the Charity shop. It was really busy traffic wise and I had to drive around a couple of times to get a space near the bank and the charity shop...even then it's only 30 minutes parking and no return for 4 hours.

Drove to the Pharmacy and collected my meds..

Then to the Supermarket... got most of what I went for... but not quite.. so I drove to the next Supermarket about a mile further, and got the rest including the baking foil....

Stopped off at Aldi on the return to get one item.. and was stunned to see that Aldi have now installed Self Checkout tills... they must be the last of all the supermarkets to do this..

Anyway got home..unloaded the shopping put everything away... and then realised I'd picked up Parchment paper instead of Foil... 😣...somethings' telling me I'm not supposed to have this foil...😝

Thank you... I don't really have allergies though, except for spring pollen, so I'm thinking I caught something else. :(
Probably just a chill, as I had last week. Sneezed once-twice a day. Finally, weather indoor warmed up and the chill went. Thankfully!

Taking showers tonight, so I've to remember to put up the heating so I've no repeating that chill ... Achoo! Bless you!

Just got back from my errands. Walked to the bank and no problem at the drive-up. The guy ahead of me was walking too. No cars in any of the stalls. Then got to the post office but took a brief rest at the corner park. I will not lie, it was not easy but I managed. It helps to be able to sit on the walker whenever I need to.

I've just been out and fixed the Garden gate . The latch had buckled a little which meant that I could lock it from inside and push the bolt over and the gate stayed closed, but when I went out, I couldn't use the bolt from the outside , which meant the latch wouldn't stay locked, so I've come home to the garden gate being wide open and anyone could walk through ... so I've just been out there with a hammer and chisel, and flattened the latch so it fits into the slot... ...go me ! :D(y)

Me too! I get hayfever but does seem much too early to be suffering now!

I'm home🏡

Anybody remember when I told y'all about the part-timer we had last spring who had her own catering business and wanted Sir to work for her? She kept insulting the wrong people (me included!) and finally got transferred to another store. Sir told me she dropped by to visit on Monday. Huh? I asked him if she sdked to transfer back, but he said she can't because...she got fired. Why? Because she got in a fight with a manager at the other store and actually tried to duke it out! I guess she didn't read the part in the employee handbook that says striking another employee is cause for immediate dismissal.

It's a beautiful day, and General Lee must have got up this morning before the sun was up because he didn't see his shadow. According to legend, that means spring is right around the corner. Mmhmm. According to the weathernerds, this month is going to be cooler and wetter than normal. I'd really rather believe General Lee.

Gonna get to those solar garden lights. Yes, I am!

Y'all don't know from pollen until you've see pollen season (aka green crap season) in Georgia. It gets in the house even through windows that are shut tight, runs in yellow-green rivers down the street in rivers when it rains, settles on cars so thick that the color of the car can't be determined. And footprints can be seen on the sidewalk after a person passes by.

When I was still a cleaning fairy, it was understood that I'd leave the dusting until the season was over, usually about a month (sometimes longer).

Goodness, there are worst things than bashing up a colleague - nicking their lunch for a start :D;)

GiGi...how old is the woman who wanted to have a punch up ?
60. Think she might have anger issues? LOL!

She's the one who yelled at me in front of a store full of customers and a bunch of employees and a vendor to "move your @zz!" A couple of days later, she was supposed to help the manager who's in charge of receiving. When the manager got there, said to manager "If I'd known I'd have to work with you, I'd have stayed home."

Anger issues? No filters? Maybe just plain stupid?
